Most impressive was that Amy did not push. Ever. Even when we got into a contract that quickly became sour, she didn't make me feel bad about backing out, she tried to make me feel good about it, that we needed to find what was right for me. She was supportive and truly wanted me to land somewhere good. Never did she push any property, and she let me look around during showings in silence so I could focus and take it all in, after which she shared her thoughts with me and which were always valuable.
Amy is completely on top of details, proactive with communication and support, and "had my back" through the whole process.
One of the most valuable attributes in any person providing a service is how they handle stress or negative situations. I was a basket case through this process having had very unpleasant experience with the sale of my last home, but she stayed calm and on track and answered all of my questions. She did her best to help solve issues that popped up and took everything in stride. It truly felt like I had a friend taking me through this process.
As we sat at the closing and the various experts discussed new contracts, etc., Amy was the one who had the facts. Yes she is young and newer to this business, but that means she is taking it seriously and working hard to build a career. She has the knowledge, the personality, skills (organization, attention to detail, timeliness), drive, and most of all true concern for her clients. She also has a network with experience and family that has been in the business for years. She is honest honest honest and works hard for her clients.
Can't tell you how many realtors in the past just threw listings at me without even looking at them, or paying attention to my requests. Just this weekend I expressed interest in an area for possible future investment, but didn't have time to look...certainly didn't expect her to...but today I received an email that she went and investigated for me, and didn't think it was right for me and why. Wow!!
I can't see how anyone wouldn't be happy working with Amy. She's a permanent addition in my resource files!
