I WOULD LIKE TO REITERATE MY PRAISE FOR THE CLEAN AND EFFICIENT JOB THAT DON WELCH AND HIS CREW FROM ABC DID IN CONNECTION WITH THE INSTALLATION OF MY ROOF AT 1050 ILLINOIS ROAD, WILMETTE IN DECEMBER OF LAST YEAR. DON WAS ALWAYS THERE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AND WAS ACCESSIBLE AT ALL TIMES AT HIS CELL PHONE NUMBER. RECENTLY, I CONTACTED HIM ON A SUNDAY, AND HE CAME OUT TODAY (TUESDAY) TO LOOK AT A PROBLEM THAT I HAD WITH SQUIRRELS TRYING TO CHEW THROUGH SOME METAL IN THE INSTALLED ROOF. HE WENT UP ON THE ROOF HIMSELF AND REPAIRED THE TWO POINTS OF ATTEMPTED ENTRY. HE IS ALWAYS VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL AND GETS THE JOB DONE ON TIME AND AS PROMISED. Quality roofing work, but communication isn't best. The person we were working with was on top of it, but unfortunately, he didn't always know the answer as the Company and contractors seemed to have a different take. Contractors on site was troublesome. Talking with supervisor was difficult as he seemed annoyed we kept asking questions while he sat inside his truck the whole time. After they were done, we had to make sure gutters were done correctly and cleanup was done. We also had a few areas that siding were replaced due to weather damage. Wehad to contact them regarding fixing parts of siding that they installed with defects. While they are seem to be great with workmanship and being on top of it before work starts, the communicating during and after is much more work.

This company knows it's business. Highly professional management and site crews. They are very competitive with price, we spoke to 5 contractors. American more than delivered on the project. My house needed to be recladded which involved several steps. The crew handled unforeseen issues without hassle or additional expense. Efficient, clean work site, they took care of small details you wouldn't even think of which really made the complete job look fantastic. You need to get these Pros out to bid on your next project.

My work with them is not yet completed. They came out on time, inspected the roof, took many pictures and let us know just patching would only damage more of our aged roof. They will be back on Monday afternoon to talk to us and discuss our options. We appreciated their honesty and the pictures to prove there is a lot of storm damage on a very old roof.

Mike Anderson walked me and our insurance agent through the entire process. There was no high pressure to sign and he helped us look at colors on roofs they were doing. They upgraded the shingles and finished in one day with no damage to any plants or the house. Drew the foreman answered all my questions and even hooked up exhaust fans that were blowing wild in the attic. Being a construction superintendent I know a good job and was very impressed with the quality of the work and the company's communication. Tremendous job Mike. Thanks Rick

Tommie and Paul came (great customer service in that I even remember that) and found that the issue wasn't my roof. They really evaluated it and helped me even with non-roof things that were causing the issue. Will always call them when I need a roofer now.

Great price compared to the other 2 quotes I got, plus higher quality products. Price was less with a new skylight than a different recommended contractor with only new flashing around the existing skylight. Quick installation and clean up! Thorough installation of ice and water barrier 6 ft around all sides as well as around every opening (skylight, vents, chimney, etc.).
