They fixed the conduct in the attic that was broken. He came out at 1 o'clock in the morning because we were concerned about safety issues. He showed up with a smile on his face and he took care of the whole situation. We would not hesitate to use them again and we would recommend them to anyone.

He brought in a small team of people and completed the job quickly, offering updates as he went.

I called Mr. Winston after 5:00 pm on a Monday and left him a voicemail. He called me back within ten minutes (must've heard the panic in my voice). After I explained I knew it wasn't a ComEd problem he agreed to come out first thing the following morning (I had heat so I knew I wasn't going to freeze to death). He showed and within a few minutes had replaced one of my circuit breakers. Very nice, personable and not afraid to explain the problem to me. I will hire this company again in the future. A side-note - my dogs loved him.

We called around for estimates to have two ceiling fans replaced and a new chandelier hung in our foyer. All the companies I called are listed as being A rated on Angie's List. The issue with our job was that all three fixtures had to be installed at a height of about 23 feet. The estimates ranged from $375 to $1500 without seeing the install location. The estimate from Winston Electric was less than half of it's nearest competitor. I'm guessing that's because Winston has all the equipment they need to complete the job, and the other companies said they'd have to rent scaffolding to gain access to the light and fans.
After getting all the estimates, I was thinking I might not have understood correctly, so I actually called back to Winston Electric to ask if the price was for each fixture or the entire job and I was assured it was for the entire job. Jack Winston did say that without seeing how much assembly the fans or light would require, the final cost might go slightly higher. Due to how our old chandelier was originally installed, taking it down took longer than anticipated, and he had to do some re-wiring (also un-anticipated). The final figure was $450, which I thought was well in the range of what the job should cost.
While he was here we asked if he could do some other work that I hadn't thought of when I called originally, but since he had a schedule to keep that day so we agreed on a day for him to return to finish re-wiring the additional switches.
Both times, Jack showed up on time and completed the work as promised.

After finding mice in my basement last winter, I found that it was due to an opening to the exterior created by the can housing the meter socket pulling away from the house. Apparently Pulte failed to secure the can housing the meter socket to the side of the house when it was built 10 years ago and also failed to insulate around the hole in the foundation where the service leads into the panel in the basement. Over the course of 10 years, the can housing the meter socket settled into the earth, thereby pulling away from the house. 
Through Angie's List, I found that Winston Electric was local and figured I'd give them a call. I spoke to Jack Winston, the owner, and after discussing the issue with him, he said he'd stop by the next day to take a look. He arrived on time and not only quoted me a price, he had the issue resolved within 40 minutes with the help of his partner David. Jack's confidence in his work reassured me that the job was being done right.
I have some further electrical work that I intend to have completed in the near future and will most certainly call on Winston Electric for the project.

He was honest.  He explained and told us what to do to help lighten up the house; to brighten up our lighting without paying and we could do it ourselves.  He could have just said that he needed to do this and that but still he made suggestions to us to save us money.

Jack Winston and his crew were amazing. They were very prompt to come out initially and then again when the other problems were discovered. They repaired the mistakes the previous owner created and made the house much safer. Jack was wonderful at setting my mind at ease, that the problems could be fix and not cost a fortune. He stayed close to the estimate and additional costs were for materials that were unexpected but needed. Everything was clean and handled as if it was his own home. Everything was completely straight forward and professional. He would be the first I call if I need any more electrical help.

We had used Jack's services about 10 years ago for some major work in our garage and patio. Recently I needed an outlet added to an area of our basement and called upon his services again. Jack shows the utmost professionalism and is very personable. He answered all of my questions, showed me how to replace my own light switches (bonus) and even checked another outlet to ensure it was working correctly. I will continue to use Winston Electrical and would recommend them to anyone.

Jack Winston of Winston Electric did an outstanding job at my home. Jack took his time to listen to our needs and concerns. He did an excellent job installing a new electric feed to the front of our home and then installed five new exterior light fixtures. He also fixed some interior switches and outlets. Jack is professional and trustworthy and I would use him again. I highly recommend Winston Electric.

Jack arrived on time, was consistently professional and courteous, did the work quickly and carefully, and didn't over-charge. He pointed out several safety problems with the basement wiring that his demolition work eliminated. We were glad to have him in. Jack did the work on a time and materials basis and charged exactly what he advertised.

It went very smoothly. They had everything done well within the time frame they said. They took care of us very well. They returned my calls promptly and were very flexible on the scheduling. It was very well done and passed inspection quickly. We had no issues at all. They were incredible to work with.

I thought that they did excellent work. I am very satisfied with how it looks because it's not shaking or anything like that. They just finished today so it's kind of hard to give them a grading, but I think they did very well.
