"[member name removed], In all fairness we will respond as follows, You contacted us to replace your heating and cooling system so we did visit your home and pointed out various problems with the existing duct design throughout the home,Our recommendation was to open all the walls and change the duct system completely. The second option would be to increase your comfort level to the 2nd floor by using a variable drive furnace and also mentioned that installing an attic fan and increasing the insulation in the attic area would increase the comfort level to the 2nd floor. We still recommend adding the attic fan and the insulation even if you are against correcting the duct system. We are sorry that you are not happy with your current comfort level but please understand that the recommendations were to very important for a cooler 2nd level. Thank you, Alan Harrison."
The day of the installation, Matt and Jeff came to install the A/C and furnace. This was a big job because my furnace is in a tight space. Both Matt and Jeff worked all day until the job was done. When I didn't like the way the A/C rested on the new pad, Matt politely told me he would fix it and he did. Both Matt and Jeff were very respectful and helpful when I had questions (and I had a lot of questions). They completed the install and cleaned the whole area. They even let me save the copper so I could recycle it myself. Paula Harrison (in the office) was also very helpful when I had questions about the install scheduling and the rebate paperwork I signed (Temptrol completed the paperwork) so they could claim the rebates. A few days after the install, my husband and I smelled something in the basement. We weren't sure what we were smelling, so I called Temptrol. Paula called me back immediately with a service call date. Matt and Jeff returned and assured me they didn't find any gas leaks and even checked my dryer connections on the first floor and even offered to check my stove connection. WOW! That's service and once again, they were very polite and respectful.
I have already recommended their services to several of my friends at work. You have a very satisfied customer.

"Dear Member, We are very disappointed that you feel this way .We would like to respond by saying that if you would have just given us a call after the tune up and stated that you had a problem with your ac system we would have been happy to return at no charge to you and make any necessary repairs.We are a family owned and operated business and strive to offer all our customers 100% satisfaction but we must have a response from any customer that has a problem so we can at least have the opportunity to resolve it.In all fairness your current ac system has a manufacturers date of 1988 and has a high risk for failure and freon leaks. We would recommend replacing the ac system for reliability and utility cost savings. We would also like to offer you a $59.00 refund so you don't feel like we have taken advantage of you or your family.Please give us a call so we can send you the payment.
