 + -1 moreOverall the work was good, minor follow-ups were needed. Kevin and Pat showed up at the established time. One of the windows ordered was the wrong type, but they re-ordered it and in about 1 1/2 month we got it installed. It took a little longer than we expected but they again came when they said they will. We chose them because they were recommended by neighbors.
Description of Work: Replaced 10 Alside shefield windows and one patio door. Added a window to bathroom. The previous windows were aluminum and were freezing inside and had seal broken, some wouldn't open. Kevin gave us a choice for the new windows (vinyl) Alside excalibur or Sheffield (higher quality) for a couple hundred dollars difference and we chose the latest. It was the lowest price quote we got for this kind of windows.

 + -1 moreTHIS EXPERIENCE ENDED UP BEING A BAD ONE, DUE TO HEARTLAND REMODELING'S DISHONESTY WITH ME. THE ROTTED WOOD WAS SUPPOSE TO BE REPLACED AND NOT JUST COVERED UP, AND THIS ENDED UP NOT BEING DONE AT ALL. THEY DID AN OK JOB WHEN I LOOK AT IT, BUT THIS PROBLEM COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN FIXED. I EVEN CALLED TO ASK HEARTLAND REMODELING TO COME BACK AND FIX THE PROBLEM WITH THE CAULKING, AND MR CLIFFORD SAID THIS WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP HOWEVER, AND NEVER EVEN CALLED ME BACK TO LET ME KNOW WHY NOT. AT THIS POINT, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE AVOID HEARTLAND REMODELING. HONESTY IS NUMBER ONE TO ME, AND THIS THEY ARE NOT.
Description of Work: THEY WERE TO PLACE SIDING ON THE WHOLE HOUSE OVER THE OLD SIDING AND ALSO REPLACE THE KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM, AND BATHROOM WINDOWS, TOTALING NINE WINDOWS OVERALL. THEY WERE TO REPLACE ALL ROTTED WOOD TOO.
