Duke of Doors rep came out to replace a broken spring(s). Very prompt and professional. Good communication on arrival time and the work involved. Provided helpful tips in addition. Would definitely hire again for any garage door needs.

I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Duke of Doors! Duke was extremely busy and with it being Memorial Day weekend, I am INCREDIBLY grateful and impressed that he was able to squeeze us in and had everything done in no time. His prices are very reasonable. I don't even look anywhere else because I know that he is honest and fair. He really does make his clients feel valued! I will definitely be a lifetime client! I would highly recommend them!

Great service! Great prices (better than big box store) and local. With the service and quality that Duke provides supporting a local business was easy. Duke responded quickly and manged to get my door shut (spring broke and it would not close all the way) and ordered my new door. Installation was timely and well done. A new door really spruces up my house. Duke was very professional and left my garage better than it was when he got there (swept the floor). I am willing to pay more for great customer service but in this case I didn't have to. Highly recommend for service and quality.

Duke was great! Not only did he provide the service we needed, he used quality springs with twice the lifetime of the springs his competitors bid to use. I should also mention, Duke was far more responsive than the other places I contacted. He got back to me quickly and with an accurate quote. Naturally, the person who installed our garage door had not put all of the hinges on the door. Duke clearly and professionally showed me where the installer had failed us. He then, very affordably, fixed all of the issues. More remarkable was the cheer and enthusiasm Duke has for his profession. If you are in the Southeastern Wisconsin, Northern Illinois area, there is only one call you need to make for your garage door needs, and that call is to the Duke of Doors.

I have nothing but good things to say about these guys. Duke and Steve came out to our house yesterday to replace our garage unit and also suggested tuning up the springs on the garage. They were very friendly, very informative and incredibly professional. They were accommodating to my husband's work hours and were there til almost 7pm. They even swept out our entire garage and cleaned it up.They gave us a great deal and we will definitely recommend them to our family and friends and also use them in the future.

Very good experience. Our opener had broken and they came out the same day to try and replace it. They did not have a part we needed upon inspection, so it had to be ordered. Once the part came in they came back out and did the complete project.

Our door spring broke over the weekend and we manage to get on their schedule for Monday. The guys replaced the springs, did a complete check and "tune up" of the door, tracks and motor(shocked how many screws & bolts were loose) and were done in under and hour. Great guys, great service and price. I will use them for future service.

Work done well. Installers very pleasant. Cleaned up after themselves AND cleaned and touched up door paint for some scuff marks from shipping and installation. Extra points for that. Seems like a good door and opener.
They could be better with their scheduling. For estimate appointment I phoned because he was late. Duke's schedule had a time different than what I was told for the appointment. Then he later found out that the time I had been told was written somewhere else. Installation was delayed due to employee emergency. This is no one's fault. They offered to come in late afternoon on the appointment date or come the next day. We opted for the next day, which was a Saturday. Kudos for catching up by working on the weekend.
It turned out that our opener code is same as next door neighbors. The door kept opening on it's own. Installer came out to check what was wrong, discovered the code problem and changed it. Hopefully they learned to check this kind of thing on date of installation. Make sure customer's opener does not open neighbors door, and if it does, change the code.

Duke was incredibly responsive! Duke was friendly, courteous and efficient. He charged a fair price for his work and more importantly I am now confident that I can pull into my garage without the door slamming on myself or my family! I just cannot give enough positive feedback on him as he was just that good!

I came here to Angie's List to look for a reputable company to replace our old garage door. I found Duke of Doors and they were highly recommended. I called Duke and left a message. He called back within 20 minutes. We set a date and he came out and looked at our old door, took some measurements, and showed us some samples of new doors. We discussed a few options and then made our choice and set a date for the work. Since I would not be home on that day, an exact time arrival was not important. I arrived home after work to find a beautiful new garage door. It was the one we had selected and looked great. There was no mess, nothing left behind, and nothing moved around in the garage. I had moved some items previously before they arrived. When he returned for the check, he went over some basic things with me about lubricating the door hinges rollers etc. We kept our old automatic door opener since it was in good operating condition. In summary, great job, beautiful door, and Duke is dependable, responsive and courteous. The value of the job was commensurate with the price paid. We're very happy.
