I had Cool-Man check my furnace as it was not going on. The furnace would click but not turn on. They oiled the motor and said if that did not do the job, I would need a new furnace. That made sense as the furnace was old. The guy who came to do this job dirtied the rug in front of the furnace. I had to do the clean up. I asked them to install a humidifier when they did the job. I was told they could only know when they started the job if it would fit. I was told I was going to have a name brand installed. (I think it was supposed to be a GE.) When I saw it was Nordyne, they said it was the same product and they could not install the humidifier. Seems to me since they do most of the HVAC in this building they would have some idea of whether the furnace (and humidifier) would fit the space. Guess not! What they installed was smaller than the one replaced. It exposed a hole in the wall that was covered by the old furnace. It was patched only when I insisted.
