They were definitely the most reasonable and fair.

They were very good, flexible and good to work with. I thought I got a lot of value for how much I paid. The lady who owns the company is Ann Docker. She is pretty creative and flexible. She is very honest and will give feedback. If she thinks something is not a good idea she will tell me first. If I am thinking about plants in a way that is not too wise for the area I am thinking about she will tell me straight up in a nice way. We had to move dates a little bit because of weather-related issues, but that is part of this kind of work. Their price was great and she gets back to me right away. She was very professional.

Tammy came to my house to talk about what we would like to see. I was very impressed that they used photoshop (or a similar program) to help us visualize what the final product would be. She went through several design options for us. It was really helpful because we ended up liking the opposite of what we thought we wanted originally. That design assistance helped put them over the top when making a final decision. The two fellows who came out to do the work did a good job and were very polite. They took away a lot of extra yard waste that wasn't part of the contract and I really appreciated that.
The only negative I would note is that they didn't call JULIE to mark underground utilities with enough notice before they started work. (JULIE has up to two business days to make the lines and they didn't call until they day before they showed up). They did the work without having the lines marked. They ended up hitting a cable line in the back yard. They didn't call anyone to report because he was sure it was an old cable due to the style (or so I was told). We haven't had any problems or angry phone calls from Charter so I suppose he was right. However, that was sheer luck on their part. Could have very easily been a costly mistake. If it wasn't for that, I would have had an almost entirely positive experience. Just makes me wonder about them a little bit. Didn't seem like a smart decision in my opinion.
