HOGGATT CONSTRUCTION

Greg remodeled 2 complete houses for me. Kitchens, baths, windows, roofs and siding. His work was exceptional. I will only use Hoggatt and Son construction.

THE WORST! Greg took our money and started okay. He convinced the title company to keep giving him money and he used it on other jobs (maybe) because we ended up paying suppliers to avoid liens. He used supplies from anywhere he could get credit or didn't already owe money instead of the ones we picked. He kept promising that the work would be done but then he wouldn't show up. He never got permits and eventually city inspector had him arrested. He had so much of our money that we were afraid if fired him too early we'd never get it back or the work finished - thanks title company! After we fired him we had to hire another to finish and the inspections revealed that he never vented the plumbing. We spent $15,000 to go back and fix what he had done. 2 years later tile pops off, we now get water in our basement, toilets leak. If we had any money left for an attorney and we thought we'd ever see any from a lawsuit, we would have sued.

Horrible. I've had a lien placed on my home due to Hoggatt not paying bills. Hoggatt won't follow up & finish the job. He (Greg Hoggatt) won't return my calls or do what he says he's going to do. He should be run out of business.
