He was very responsive and extremely professional. Chris was also able to coordinate with a WDI inspector to be there at the same time, which was quite helpful to us. He was extremely thorough during the inspection and with his report. He was detailed in his explanations on his report and the pictures helped to show exactly what he was talking about. He also provides recommendations and links regarding more information on issues he found with the house. Even after the inspection was completed, he was very prompt in responding to any questions we had. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection.

Mr. Currins replied quickly to an on-line inquiry. Payment was done painlessly on-line as well. He showed up on time and was very thorough. It took him more than 3 hours to do an inspection on a 3,200 square feet house. He also arranged for a termite inspection and was so nice to pay for it, to be reimbursed by me later. He also let the individual in who set up the Radon test. After the inspection he showed me the most important issues he found and suggested possible remedies. Three days later I received a full inspection report, over thirty pages long, with detailed descriptions of all problems and issues, including photos.
Overall I was very happy with Mr. Currins. His report helped us getting the seller to agree to some remediation and also to give us a check at closing to cover other repairs. I felt very confident dealing with him. He seemed to be very knowledgeable. His website looks professional as well.

Most parts of the home purchase process are pretty stressful...fortunately Chris from CBC Home Inspections made the inspection part of the process really easy for me. First: Very professional website, licensed, insured, credentialed. Second: Prompt, reasonable fee, easy online payment. Third: Thorough inspector; provided very thoughtful feedback and support after the inspection was concluded. A home inspector was recommended to me by my realtor, but for a variety of reasons I decided to go with an and quot;impartialand quot; inspector. Chris was prompt and very responsive as we worked out the details and timing of the inspection. I wanted to participate in the inspection and Chris has no problem with me following him around for a good four hours (especially beneficial because he was able to provide some immediate thoughts and ideas on needed repairs - these we're included in his report but it was useful to have seen it for myself first hand). Though I acted as a shadow most of the day Chris was happy to have me along. That said, I would absolutely trust him to do an inspection without me looking over his shoulder. I would absolutely use Chris for another inspection.

Christopher showed up on time as scheduled. He did his inspection through out the house. Taking pictures and checking everything. As I followed him around he was pointing out items, which he included in his report. After he was complete, he told me I'd have the report before the weekend was up. I received it on Sunday, emailed to me as requested. With the report was able to get the seller to correct problems.
