The Good: He showed up on time, was courteous, professional and friendly.
The Bad: He submitted a bid that was the highest bid I received--more than the top of the line fence company on this side of the river.
The Ugly: He charged me $45 to give the estimate after he knew he was the highest one I had received.
Yes, I knew I was expected to pay for an estimate and I agreed to it. However, when you are significantly higher than the Rolls Royce of fence companies and you are shown that estimate, you would think that, as a matter of company pride, you would just waive the fee and say goodbye. He did not. $45 for a lousy bid.
