We got our new furnace, and went with them because the provide good service, replaced my air conditioning system, they repaired and redid everything including the things that was not properly done by the previous company. and that made me switch to Windy City services.

They are very good, excellent.

Tom Walden was professional from the first moment we talked over the phone to set up an appointment. Tom's walk through was timely and thorough. He sent a detailed quote via email 2 business days later. The quote was higher than other estimates I received, but I felt that Windy City Mechanical was far more detail minded. I have an older house built in 1913 that has some obstacles in the construction. Windy city's crew was awesome! Jason was clean, courteous and worked long hours to get this project done. I am glad I went with windy city mechanical and will use them tin the future again.

They were good. They tried to fix our existing furnace, but could not because of a problem that was caused by a previous plumbing issue. It was major hazard. This problem could've killed us due to its severity. They gave me a real good price and replaced the furnace and air conditioner. They were out doing work by 8:30am the next morning. They even provided us with space heaters while they worked on the furnace.  I was surprised with how fast they fixed everything. They cleaned up after themselves, and the workers were very polite.

They came out and replaced the boiler pump. They were pretty good.

What I thought was going to be a relatively routine repair, turned out to require a total replacement of the furnace and a/c. Tom made a point to call my spouse who was at work to properly update him on the situation. He even offered to come by "after hours" in case my spouse wanted to talk to him in person. Offered honest and fair suggestions after thoroughly questioning our heat usages. Very flexible with their service hours, they were able to accommodate us on a Saturday. The men who installed the furnace and a/c were professional and personable, and always keep us informed. They also cleaned up after themselves. Very satisfied with their service.

I woke up around midnight to a chilly bedroom. My furnace had stopped working! It was about 15 degrees outside that night. After checking connections and fuses I decided I needed a professionals help and fast, it was approx. 62 degrees in my house and dropping. I remembered hearing about Angie's list on the radio and decided tonight was the right time to try out the site. I chose Windy City Mechanical Inc. based upon their proximity and flawless "A" reviews they received from ALL of their customers. I called around midnight and had a technician looking at my furnace in about 20 minutes! He was very friendly and took the time to explain exactly what he was checking. He systematically worked his way through all the essential components of the furnace until he found the problem. He found a wire that needed to be repaired and re-routed some others. He took out the flame sensor and cleaned it. He was very thorough and patient as he let the furnace turn on and off 3 or 4 times before he was satisfied it was working properly. The last time I had a different Company repair my furnace it was obvious that the technician was nothing more than a ?parts changer? as he simply kept running out to his truck replacing part after part until my furnace was working again. I was not convinced I had 3 separate parts that failed but was in the unfortunate position of having no heat. Windy City Mechanical was the exact opposite! True professionals in every aspect of the repair experience. I?ve had the pleasure to tell many friends and family members about my great experience. Windy City Mechanical will definitely be getting all of our HVAC service and repairs in the future!

Very well. They were efficient, cleaned up well after their work, were careful when removing old equipment so that walls were not damaged, removed all of their trash. Personable and articulate.

They did an excellent job and out of the three companies we had give an estimate they were the best price and were most helpful in making decisions on what exactly to get. They were on time, showing up at 8:00 am and were done by about 4:00 pm. They did a great job and if we ever need anything again, we'll use them!

I joined Angie's list because my air was out and the A/C guy I had come out last year was on vacation. I called this place and was told that someone could be at my place between 5pm and 7pm that night. This was wonderful news since it was in the 90s and humid. Tom showed up at 5:30pm. Not only was he quick, courteous, and professional, but he got caught on my roof while a violent thunderstorm roared on. He was trying to get the job done before the storm broke. He must haven taken pity on me since my unit was nearly 90 degrees. He was fantastic and I plan on calling again in the future. I was even able to use $35 Angie's list coupon too.

He did a very good job. He took a good amount of time to do the job; he wasn?t in a hurry. He did a very thorough job. He was here within 20 minutes after I called.

He showed up on time. He found that our AC coils had frozen and explained that we probably had a refrigerant leak. He set up a catch pan for the melting ice with towels to catch any further moisture and then set an appointment with me to come back later in the day once the ice had melted. He came back the second time and worked past 6 to get everything finished and didn't charge for overtime or the second visit. My AC unit is up in a cubby hole 8 feet up from the floor and a pain in the a** to access. I provided the ladder but he didn't complain at all.

It turned out real good. They came out and gave me a good estimate. They educated me on it and told me what I needed for my home, what was required. The work that they did was good. They cleaned up behind themselves. They gave me a nice unit. The price was good because I did shop around and they did give me the best price for it. They cleaned up behind themselves and they showed me what they were doing. It looks real nice. As a matter of fact they added 2 more vents to my basement within the price. They came on out. As a matter of fact I was going to go with someone else and he asked me to give him a chance to present himself and that I did. He responded well. He came out that night and the next day they were here to put the unit in. They communicated really well in everything they did.

Tom and his staff were fantastic Completed the work at the price they said they quoted. They were efficient and very profesional. A real pleasure to deal with and you don't hear that often with heating & A/C people.

They are very conscientious and pleasant to have around. They gave me an estimate and it was right on with the charges. The workers that came were hard working.
