Orkin Pest Control

my handymen told me that i may have termites so i called up orkin and they came out on august 8, 2022 and said that he didn't see any termites he seem that i have mice and i told him that i had chicken and food down there and i didn't have mice down there and got rid of them, told him i may have occasionally, i had some 2018 and they multiplied and got into my attic and they suggested that i have to replace all the insulation for the entire house and he said that they had to put things in my gutters and also around my house and only did half of the house, they put the strip around the house and they put the sealer on my deck and stuck something in my gutters and in my garage they put a strip around the flooring so the mice can't go there. they did remove alot of insulation, and they blew in that loose insulation and they said the reason why did they do that so the mice might die, and they put trap around my house and they never caught any mice, and they told me they have to spray something for bugs and every month they come out and i pay $85 everytime they visit. and i am complaining because the amount of work they did is less than a day and they charge me a big amount of money. my handyman told me that they are coming from the vent but this company did not touch or do anything about this vent. it was uncomfortable because they won't fix it. inspector came out months later and they said that they were coming back to finish it and then gave me a date but never showed up. i tried to contact him again and he said that he will going to talk to the company he told me he is the manager his name is riley. they are not helping me, they are pushing you to pay $85 a month for killing bugs. so in short they are lying about it and they are not helping me and getting money from me.

They were pretty good. I would tell friends and family that they are a little high but okay.

I was not satisfied. They did not follow through.

They will call and ask if we need any pest control before they come out.

They were responsive and showed up on time and did call. Whatever product they used was not strong enough and did not get rid of the ant problem in my home. I advised them that I do not have children or pets and they could use a stronger poison which they did not.

The exterminator called 10 minutes before his arrival to let us know when he would arrive.

He identified himself.

He listened to what we requested, and did as he was asked.

He answered our questions about the service

He wrote the bill

We gave him a check.

He left information and a receipt upon his departure.

Their service was fine and variable. Their price was outrageously getting more expensive for no apparent reason.

ORKIN DID A GREAT JOB 

After a torrential rainfall and noticing termites "marching" in my basement area I immediately checked my Angie's listing and notified Orkin Pest Control in Alsip Il.  I left my information and a sales representative called and confirmed an appointment for inspection.  Cliff was my Sales Rep., he inspected my basement area, exterior of house and garage interior, while explaining  problems.  After the inspection he explained what was occurring, the area(s) of infestation, Orkin's procedure/warranty and answered many "concerned" questions.  An appointment date was scheduled and exterminator Henry arrived, who was very professional with the extermination, while I constantly asked him "numerous" questions regarding his equipment/process and what should be expected.  During the extermination process my Sales Rep. Cliff "dropped by" to see how the process was coming along; I WAS IMPRESSED.  After the extermination was completed Henry inspected several "concern" areas, giving me advice on PREVENTION and informed me on Orkin's follow-up procedures.

I must say, I was "very" satisfy with my Sales Rep. Cliff and Exterminator Henry.   JOB WELL DONE
I hope the follow-up is just as professional as Steps 1&2.

Their evaluator was very prompt to come to the property and he was very honest. He was very straight forward and knowledgeable. The technician who came to do the work was very pleasant and he was a hard worker. I have been waiting longer than expected for the manager to come out and do the walk through to make sure that everything was done appropriately. We are not finished yet with the third of their three visits as it is still scheduled to be completed. It took them long to schedule their last visit for the month when they came to do the treatment. The first two visits were very pleasant and very professional. There were probably less expensive alternatives out there but I appreciated their thoroughness. It is too early to comment on the quality of their work. Their responsiveness was great at first but this last meeting has been very hard to set up. The first two people who came out were spot on time. They very professional and were great to work with, however, this last meeting has been very hard to set up.

I pay a monthly bill. Our neighbor who used them recommended them to us. The woman who comes out is really good. She takes her shoes out when she comes into the house. She calls ahead to let us know when she is coming.

They were very fast! The appointment was brief but they did a good job.

Very well.

Roosvelt Walker was my service man. He was very responsive to our need. He also took care of a mouse issue too. We are on a 4 time a year plan with them. We highly recommend them.

They did a terrific job as we no longer have termites. The holes they had to drill, well you can barely see them as you have to know they are there to find them. They were very thorough, professional and came on time.

They did a great job eliminating the problem we had. They were really nice and helpful. They were on time as well.

We've used them before and will continue using them in the future. They're very prompt, reliable, and pleasant will come at night if need be. I would recommend them to anyone!

I live below my rental unit and I don't want tenants bringing any unwanted guests. I use Orkin for my own peace of mind. My annual contract is up for renewal and I'm not sure if I'll renew. I haven't had any problems with Orkin. I just wonder if I'm getting my money's worth. I might take a chance and call them back if I ever see a bug.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH ALL THE EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED. ALL EXCEPT THE MANAGER TONY. HOWEVER, HE DOESN'T REPRESENT THE WORK OR THE EMPLOYEES THAT HAVE BEEN AT OUR HOUSE TO DO THE WORK. THE WORK IS NOT LACKING.
