They were very responsive from the bidding out of the job to the arrival. However, the problem was discovered because they never bothered to come inside to see what they had done. In hammering the exterior into place, they dislodged the interior drywall, causing screws to become loose and pop thru along the ceiling and vertical drywall. There was no sign of the interior caulking the contract called for. I telephoned to discuss this but no return call, now that they had my money. I ended up, a 63 year old man, on a 10 foot ladder plastering, sanding and painting until the wee hours. Plus, the income tax credit they discussed and put into the proposal (not guaranteed, true!) proved silly; the IRS allowed a tiny fraction. It took me a long time to write this, for which I apologize.

NSS Exteriors was completely professional and very easy to work with. They provided repair options when all other contractors would only quote a complete replacement of the hatch - which would have affected the roof membrane as well and been double the cost. NSS Exteriors guaranteed the work for 5 years. They were on time for all our appointments, returned calls and worked with us to schedule appointments around our availability. Can't say enough positive things about Rusty and the rest of the NSS team !

Tyler and Tyrell were the two guys in the crew for the day. They were punctual, courteous, and professional. They put booties on their work boots each time they came into the house to protect our hardwood floors and carpeted stairs. One obstacle on the job was that our house sits too close to the house next door, so they had to climb onto our neighbor's roof first, and then onto our roof from there. They were safe on our roof and courteous to our neighbors. The entire project took about 4.5 hours. They sufficiently cleaned up after themselves and answered some questions I had about the old skylight and the roof plywood around the skylight hole in the roof. It has only been a day, so time will tell if we see any more leaks. I will update my review if anything happens. But for now, the new skylight looks great! Also, Rusty was really great during the free inspection and quoting process. I was able to call and text him with any questions throughout the process.

NSS was very professional, very skilled, and very polite. Was looking to install metal siding on my house for a different look, had trouble finding someone that would do it and then I found NSS. I am extremely happy with the results, the amount of detail they put into the work is impressive and the final look if fantastic. As part of the project the also installed 3 new skylights (2 solar and 1 fixed). We have a non-typical roof and they took the time to understand our house and came up with a plan for the install. I would highly recommend NSS to any home owner looking for metal siding.

Everything went smooth. Paul and Rusty came out promptly to inspect our skylights and gave us an estimate to replace all 14. I was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. The crew who came to do the work were very respectful, prompt and very neat. Rusty then came by after the job was complete to ensure everything went well. That was a nice touch. So far I am extremely pleased with NSS. I hope I don't have to call them back in the future for any leaks. The skylights are guaranteed not to leak for 10 years.

Went well . The gentleman showed up and replaced the skylights. So far so good. It hasn't rained heavily, so can't tell if it leaks. If any problem then I will post here.

Excellent service. From the salesmen to the workmen.
The two workmen showed up on time. They showed great concern for protecting our room and furniture from any dust or damage.They taped off a good portion of the floor to prevent any damage.
They started by showing us the possible ceiling opening locations. Once we agreed on the location and size of the opening they went to work.
The selected portion of the ceiling was removed, the attic rafters were removed as needed,and the cut off sections were boxed off with new 2X4's.The roof was removed and the skylight was installed. Then the area from the skylight to the ceiling was and quot;squared offand quot; with 2X4's and dry wall was installed. Then an initial coat of mud was applied.
They came back two days later, sanded and applied a final mud coat. When dry, they painted the area an off-white color that agrees with our ceiling.

They showed up on time in the morning to start the job. Everything went smooth and seamless and they finished when they said they would. They covered everything inside with plastic before the work began. They cleaned up everything when they finished and took all the garbage with them. I was very happy with the installers they were friendly and explained everything that was being done. Overall we had a great experience and could not be happier with our skylights and NSS Exteriors.
