 + -1 moreI rarely post comments or feedback - especially when service is bad some where. I just don't spend my $ there again. I do however make it a point to give credit to those that make my life easier with great help and/or service. Alsip Lawn Mower Repair is definitely a 5 out of 5 star businesses.
Description of Work: The warmth arrived in Chicago early this year (2012) - way too early. This caused mother nature to set off the trigger for trees to bloom, flowers begin to show and yes, the grass to grow. And grow in my yard it did, very quickly too. By the end of last summer, the pull cord on my mower was mostly out and I only had about one foot cord left IN the mower to actually pull & start it. Last week I rolled out the mower from the old garage and gave it the TLC it requires (aka maintenance) so I can officially start my mowing season. Pulling the cord to start my mower was no longer starting it - bad news for me. The great news was that someone at work mentioned Alsip Lawn Mower Repair as a great place for service and parts. Being just a little bit handy, I took things apart and concluded the problem was the spring that pulls the cord back in after pulling. I made a call then stopped in. They had the part for my Toro mower in stock (woo-hoo!). Soon after I got home, the new part was in place and my mower was ready to use. I took some business cards to hand to friends and relatives. Thanks to the ladies at Alsip Lawn Mower Repair for all their help.
