Fine, for the first two weeks, after that the sand started coming out from between the bricks. Then the "sealer started to wear away (guaranteed for 1 year). After repeated calls the owner came out, to declare that "something" was wrong with our driveway. He threw some sand into the crevices, it washed out with the first rain...and has refused to answer repeated phone calls. We had more expensive estimates from other contractors, but we went with the lower price. What a mistake. I would like people to know, that we went with the lowest price. This was definitely a mistake, but it is still a great deal of money to us, and I don't want other people to get a bad job. As seniors, we never thought that we would be "taken" by someone like this. We feel terrible about this whole situation. We tried to get them to repair our driveway, but the owner said we NOW have a problem with drainage...this is obviously something to blame us for, since it wasn't mentioned before the work. His men dug up 75% of our driveway and walkway, and replaced the bricks. I am sure they would have noticed a problem during the job.
Description of Work: Re-set paver bricks, fill in gaps with sand and re-seal entire driveway, patio and walkway. All edging to be replaced.

Response from THE PAVER DOCTOR
1. No deposit was taken from member or any other customer in 20 years. 2. Original job was done over 15 years ago. Only the ends of the driveway were repaired due to improper installation by others. 3. Improper edging was used. 20%% of the original 2100 sq done by others. All new repair due has a 1 year guarantee from date of repair, not other areas. 4. Sand has no guarantee and discoloration of pavers was there before job and remains due to etching of paver. Drive was in bad shape, customer doesn't have problems with repair. 5. We went to customers house 3 times to make her happy, not true, she made unanswered call. Saw her husband three times. 3 service calls. When large rain happens water pushes up through pavers and washed small amount out. Sent sand out, resealed that area and job is sealed fine.
