Bottom line:  Use this company for your gutter cleaning!
After our first bad Angie's List experience, this time we wanted to pick a company that had ALL "A" ratings which McGee Exteriors has in addition to receiving the Angie's List Super Service Award last year.  I called the company and spoke with Chuck.  He was able to arrive the same day for service and he was punctual!  It's impressive when someone is punctual especially when you know they have other jobs they are working on throughout the day.  His price was much more affordable compared to other companies and after 50min of cleaning out our clogged gutters and window wells, he came to tell me that most of the back windows of our home did not have insulation and caulking at the top which allows for cold air to seep into the home.  He even took pictures that I requested he email to me.  (We would not have known to look for this had he not told me & we have since contacted someone to fix it.)
  
In addition, he said that there was a lot of accumulated lint from the dryer vent which he removed since it is a fire hazard.  There are not too many people who would go out of their way to look for other problems outside the task at hand.  Chuck went above and beyond to provide great service & showed genuine care for our home.  We will definitely use him next year and will also recommend him to others who are looking to have their gutters cleaned!

At the end of Chuck's first day of work he asked for $300 to cover materials and told me he would come back later that month to finish up.  None of the front of my house had been painted.  He replaced a board, did some caulking, primed the new lumber and remounted the gutter.  And it remains the same to this day (7 months later), because he never returned to finish.
My guess was that he determined throughout the day that the work required was far more extensive than he initially predicted and he wasn't going to come back unless he could renogiate the price.  In his defense I could have called him and didn't.  I was not looking forward to arguing over the cost versus estimate and I had plenty of other things to waste that money on.  That doesn't excuse his lack of attention either.
I was impressed with what he did, he was fast, efficient, cordial and focused.  I did not get around to applying my 15% off coupon from Angies List to the work.

Chuck came over within a couple of days, assessed the situation, discovered the downspout hole was smaller than the size of a golfball, creating my gutter to back up with mud, leaves and water which birds bathed in and water poured over when it rained. I was concerned about the pooling water getting under the shingles and causing water damage to my house.  He also fixed some loose footings on my roof stacks and showed me pictures of what he had done.   Definitely a good choice in Chuck!

Called in the morning. Job done later that day. Fast and professional.

I've used this company for other services and have always been pleased with both the work and price.
On the day scheduled, a crew came out an did a thorough job cleanig all the gutters and downspouts as well as cutting away tree branches growing too close to the gutters.

Gutters look great. Made sure the down spouts were working.
Also cleaned the sky light which wasn't really expected but nice.
It wasn't an emergency but he made it out to our house with a day or so.
Did the work and left a bill. Very easy to deal with.

Went well. Would use again.

They are very professional.  They know what they’re doing.  They come out pretty quickly.  They just get the job done.  That’s what I like best about them.  They are very responsive and just do the job.  We paid him $80 for doing the whole house.  It’s a two storey house.  I thought their price was fair.  They are not very warm and friendly but they are very professional.  That’s all I care about.  I intend to call them again to continue with the gutter cleaning.  We will use their services again in the future.

Very good experience. Returned my call quickly. Came out when he said he would. Very professional and skilled work was done. Ended up fixing some cracks in the chimney and used a cell phone camera to show me what he had found and what he had done. Thought I recieved a great deal of value for the price paid. I would not hesitate to use again or recommend to my neighbors.

Had a wonderful experience. Returned call promptly. Came out within 2 days. Called ahead to make sure he had the right equipment (ladders) with him. While on the roof, patched a hole he found without asking or charging me. Took a picture of a problem area I might keep an eye on in the future, and told me how much he would charge to fix it himself. Even after he left, he called me to tell me that he forgot to mention while he was there, that he saw a hawk hanging around in my backyard, so I might want to be careful when letting my new puppy outside. Very thoughtful and I will definitely use again!

Great job every time, calls me to remind me in Spring and Fall to clean the gutters. Price always fair. Chuck is very friendly and personable with me and the family including the dog! One time he noticed a small pile of sawdust on my front porch and alerted me it may be an insect(s) digging into my siding/trim. he was correct as a large bumble bee was digging a hive into the side of my house. Don't hesitate to use Chuck, you'll be impressed.
