BANET BUILDERS & REMODELING

We used Dave Banet of Banet Builders to finish our basement in 2011 and we were very happy with his work, so when we decided to replace a poorly constructed addition on our home, we knew he was the contractor we wanted. From demo until the final touches were done, he explained every step of the process. We always had a good idea of the timeline and what piece was coming next.
The work he does is terrific! In addition to "the basics" of constructing a new room he built a bookcase against one entire wall, as well as custom mouldings around the windows and door frames - his wood working is BEAUTIFUL! The building inspector, whom we got to know quite well with all the work we've done, has commented on what a good, high quality job Dave does.
Dave is also very trust worthy. We've never felt like he pushes us to do things unnecessarily (actually he often times points out where we could save some money!) and we've never been billed for "mystery items." Once out of sheer desperation, we called him at 8pm when we were getting water in our basement from a mistake on our patio (by another contractor for another project) and he drove over that night to help us find the problem and come up with a short term solution to stop the water. He went above and beyond to help us out. Not many contractors would do that for their client. 
We're so thrilled with Dave and the work he does that we're hiring him again this summer for a third construction project of adding a porch to the front of our home. The fact that we've hired him again and again speaks for itself.

Both projects went extremely well. We got exactly what we wanted (better than we had originally wanted, in some cases) and it was done within the time frame and budget that was expected. I especially appreciated always knowing what to expect; who was coming, what they would be doing that day, and what, if anything, they would need from me. The work space was always as clean as possible at the end of the day and care was taken to confine the mess of drywalling/sanding. Their attention to detail was great. Everything about both projects exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be more pleased.

Banet's professionalism was exceptional. He helped plan the project and educated us on the responsibilities of all the various contractors. His portion of the project lasted a few days. He did not stop until we were completely satisfied. He left the job site cleaner than when he arrived. He met all our expectations and the finished project looks great.

Dave and his staff arrived on time and completed the toilet installation.  We had purchased and picked up the toilet and had it on the premises before Banet Builders arrived.  However, they WILL pick up merchandise if needed.
Usually, by the time they finish whatever service they're providing, I have several "honey-do" items that need fixing and Dave does those (like hanging new light fixtures, etc.)  He charges an hourly rate that seems very fair.  My husband and I are not particularly handy, so I'm always happy to have Dave handle the odds and ends that need attention.  I asked if we were the only ones who need this and he laughed and said, "No, most everyone has extra stuff they need help with!"
