2nd Chance Water Restoration

Dan was out to help shortly after me reaching out. He assessed the situation quickly & went to work setting us up with dryers & dehumidifiers. So thankful that his quick action saved us from the expense of new drywall. Hoping I won't need them again, but if I do, I'll definitely reach back out to 2nd Chance Restoration. His whole team was great!

Just used 2nd Chance Water Restoration on a project and they were very professional and courteous. We had a sewage back up in the basement of one of our properties. They did a great job cleaning up and providing our tenant peace of mind. Will definately use them in the future.

Pat O'Connor and 2nd Chance came to evaluate my mother's basement and help us determine what needed to be done. Right away they were able to tell that the basement had mold and make reasonable recommendations. They completely gutted the basement and removed all mold debris. They cleaned out the entire basement so that there was no remaining mold. They were incredibly careful with all valuable items in the basement and made sure not to damage anything. The crew was fast and professional. I could tell that it was more than just a job for them but that they cared about making sure my mom's home was safe and ready to be put back together. I would recommend Pat and 2nd chance to anyone that has an indoor water problem and I would definitely use these guys again.

After a heavy downpour the Chicago city sewer system backed-up pumping 2" of sewer water into our basement. We were away so the water sat for a while and mold had started to form in some areas. 2ND Chance Water Restoration responded immediately to our weekend call. They removed the water and silt and ran multiple drying fans and dehumidifiers in the basement for a week+ to return the humidity to normal and combat mold formation. They returned after dehumidification the basement to wash and sanitize. They did a great job of cleaning inside and around the problem areas like the furnace, washer, dryer, stairs, etc... Price was not 'cheap' but there was a lot of equipment and man-hours involved so it was well worth it to both get the job done, and to stave-off mold problems with drying equipment (something I alone or a budget contractor would not be able to do).
