Hart Flooring

It went well. There was a very short timeline to order carpet and have it laid before movers came with more furniture. The upstairs carpet did not smell as bad (pets) as the downstairs office so we thought we would just need Kilz in there and spot check upstairs. The installer ended up painting the entire upstairs floor. As this was not in estimate or contract, it meant an extra day required so Kilz could be applied and dry. We did end up taking the old carpet to dump, which cost was adjusted on bill, since extra work had to be done. We also had to buy the extra Kilz for upstairs since the estimate had not covered it and to keep the work going in a timely fashion. (It would have taken 4 hours for installer to go get more due to distance, when we could get it while he worked on stairs. This kept the work going uninterrupted.) We were billed for the extra Kilz but the cost was deducted when we pointed out we had bought it. Our only complaint is that the new carpet was not vacuumed after installation. You need to have it included in your estimate/contract. Very, very nice people to work with! Would go back to them. Will go back if other flooring needs arise.
