Master Rooter Plumbing

I called Monday morning and although at first they didn't think they would be able to get anyone out until the afternoon, they managed to send Rob out around 10 am. Rob is super nice! He was professional and knowledgeable. I was home alone and sometimes repair men can make a woman nervous or talk down to you. Rob is not one of those guys, he was super easy to be around. I will request him personally if I need to call a plumber again.

It went well.

I had received an estimate for a 4 to 6 hour job for the original bid. The job ended up taking 8 hours, and I was still charged the bid price. So far, very happy with the work that was completed.

They took the drain apart but didn't have the necessary part so they reassembled the old parts and went to get the necessary part. We paid when they left even though it wasn't working yet. They returned later and charged AGAIN for the disassembly/reassembly and they used cheap inferior replacement parts that we had to get replaced AGAIN just over a year later.

We had a water heater flood our basement after going through all the reviews we could find we decided to try Master Rooter. I made the appointment via email. I was called promptly the next morning confirming my appointment. A plumber was dispatched to our home very promptly. He explained that they do not do any repairs unless they meet the plumbing code for this area. A vent for the pop off valve had never been installed and he informed us to meet code this would be necessary. We were given a written estimate and asked to sign if we agreed to have the work done. This was done for both our protections so there would not be any ad dons down the line. After we agreed the work was performed promptly the same afternoon. The job was done very professionally and the plumber Jay was great to work with. Although we though the cost was a little high I believe it was well worth the cost. Also they offered on line coupons we saved us 50.00 off the written bid. Very prompt, very ethical I would definitely use them again!

I called another company and after 4 hours or waiting and not being able to use my bathroom, I decided to call these guys. Not only were they at my door within 30 minutes, they were completely professional, shirt tucked in, and actually took the time to explain things to me on my level. I find myself getting irritated when I can't understand when a plumber or heating tech tries to explain things in their language. I also welcomed the fact that all their prices are upfront and flare rated, and organized in a book that I could see in writing. They tech had my drain clear in 20 minutes and also noticed that my toilet seat was loose. He fixed it for free! On his way out I stopped him because I remembered that my kitchen sink faucet wasn't working as good anymore. He looked at that too, and took off this piece at the end that had a screen in it. He cleaned it out, put it back on, and it was fixed!!! Best of all, he did that for free also! These guys are amazing! Definitely. Will be calling again! A+++++

When I went to replace a leaking freeze proof hose bib I discovered that the previous homeowner had installed it using PEX. Not having PEX tools, I called several plumbers that I had previously used, none could respond in less than five days ( over the 4th of July four day weekend) until I called Master Rooter. Jay of Master Rooter was out within 24 hours and repaired the fitting and included a threaded fitting so future repairs can be made without tearing out drywall to get at the backside of the fitting. Had a second chance to use their services when I discovered that I had damaged an interior line (PEX, once again), Jay was able to respond almost immediately to save me from myself once again. Many thanks to Jay and the folks of Master Rooter, they are now at the top of my speed dial list of plumbers.
