Replacing the electrical panel was straight-forward as was most of the other work. Modification of the external light fixture wiring was very problematic, as can be expected sometimes during a remodeling project. The contractor (Jay Skeate Enterprises) needed to cut channels in external building structure and to thread the wiring for the external light fixtures and switches.
Pros: Work was competent and completed in a timely fashion. Cost met our expectation.
Cons: Working on a remodeling project is expected to present ugly surprises and associated challenges. Ours was no exception. The attitude of Strom Electric toward dealing with these challenges was not what we hoped for, rather it was negative and discouraging, leading us to feel that we would be unable to accomplish what we wanted done. In the end we were able to resolve these problems, but the experience was not good.
