Bill the owner and his team where absolutely amazing. Bill had the project done from bid to pour and completed in 3 days. I would absolutely use Bill again. I have more concrete for him!

Bill responded to my request for quote promptly, was on time and very professional and patient. This was my first time having a patio poured and he worked through and figured out what I wanted from some very vague descriptions. They removed the old original 20 year old 8x11 pad, moved automatic sprinklers, excavated and built the new patio. The crew was awesome, everyone showed up on time, was very respectful and fun, and left my back yard as if they had never been there - except for the GORGEOUS patio that they built for me. It turned out even better than I expected, they do excellent work. I would HIGHLY recommend Bill and his crew at Bicknell Builders and would/will definitely hire again.

Badly. Some of the concrete surface flaked off. Bill did not respond to numerous emails, texts or phone call. I managed to get him on the phone one time and he said his work flaked because I used ice melt last winter. If ice melt were the cause all of the concrete in Idaho would have flaked off after last winter. Research this topic and you'll find that properly mixed and finished concrete is not damaged by ice melt. In fact I pointed out that a piece of concrete right next to his done by another person had no damage. Never the less Bill refuses to fix his work.

After reading great reviews on here about Bicknell Builders we had Bill come out to give us a quote, actually 2 different quotes as I changed my idea after the 1st one. Bill was professional, his quote was reasonable and he was very easy to talk design ideas with. He helped us make the best use of our space. When the day came to put in the patio extension he and his crew were on time and very friendly. They knocked out the whole project in 1 day vs the original 2 day plan. It was a long day for them but they made it happen. These guys were great and we would definitely recommend them! Thanks again Bill and crew!

Bill was great and easy to work with in setting up the estimate. I sent pictures and descriptions of what I was looking for, and he got back to me promptly with estimates.
He did all the work prompt and on-time, and I was very pleased with the results.
I would definitely use Bill again for future concrete work and recommend him to others.

I contacted Bill for a bid on some concrete work which included a repair of some work that I had attempted to do in years past.. He was prompt and was very professional all the way. His crew did a great job as well. I had a few changes along the way and Bill took it in stride as well as having the patients to take the time with my wife as she made up her mind on what she wanted. Bills' quality of work is top notch!! I am very happy with him and his crew. The price of the job is a reflection of the quality of work done, he isn't the least expensive but you get what you pay for. I will use  Bicknell Builders again if I ever need cement work done again. It's been just over a year since Bill and his crew did work for us. We had a large project that seemed to grow as we went along
 We are still very happy with the work completed and receive  a lot of compliments about our patio and sidewalk.
When we started the project we really had no clue as to what we wanted.  Bill gave us suggestions and advise on what would suite our needs the best and our patio design turned out fantastic!
 We even had to delay part of our project  after Bill started requiring him to come back and finish some time later which I know was a burden on him.  He came back and completed the job just as he promised without a complaint.

Bill Bicknell and his staff of workers provided excellent service and allowed us to transform our backyard area into a beautiful place to spend time in.

Bill was very responsive to my initial request for a bid and was always on time.  He provided an on the spot fair bid for the work he was going to do.  He and his workers arrived as scheduled.  They provided great work.  They were accommodating to the neighbors when vehicles needed to be moved.  They cleaned-up at the end of every work day and finished the entire job in 5 days.

Bill is very professional and was great to work with.  The patio and walkway to our garage is GREAT!

My experience was amazing. Out of the 5 or so quotes I got, his was the fastest and the most competitive. He replied to my request for a quote the same day I sent it and came and looked at my property the same night. By the following Wednesday, the job was completed. That's less than a week from start to finish. And the patio is beautiful. Much better than I ever could have expected it would turn out.

The crew did a great job.  They measured and laid out the extension, dug out the sod and top soil to the proper depth.  They brought the concrete around to the back in wheelbarrows.  Leveled out the new slab.  Similarly they laid out the sidewalk, poured the concrete and leveled out the sidewalk.  All of the work was done in one day.  They let the concrete cure and came back a couple of days later and removed all of the framing.  They were very thorough, did a great job with the cleanup.  All crew members were professional and polite.  They matched the existing concrete work so that the new construction looks just like it might have been done when the house was built.  I would definitely recommend them.

I found Bicknell Builders on Craigslist, but several of my coworkers had also recommended them. Bill (owner) and his crew were awesome. He will be my ?concrete guy? for as long as he is in business around here. Excellent work for an excellent price. I would say that my expectations are higher than the average person, and the end result exceeded them.

Mr. Bicknell and his crew were a pleasure to work with and very professional. We had a large patio put in, which required removal of existing grass and shrubs prior to having the patio poured. My wife and I decided right away after Bill Bicknell came out and gave us the bid that we felt comfortable having him do the job. He was personable, professional, and took the time to take all measurements for an accurate estimate. This was unlike other contractors who either did not return calls or gave an arbitrary estimate without taking detailed measurements.

We agreed on a day and Bill and his crew arrived, worked efficiently and well together, and had the patio ready to be poured with no problems. On pour day, despite it being a large job, the concrete was poured and finished by professionals who appeared to know their stuff. The temperature was even close to 100 on this day.

The good job this crew did didn't end with the pouring of the concrete. They even cleaned the street of as much debris as possible when they were finished.

I would recommend this contractor.

We are extremely happy with the job done. He is honest, his price is comfortable to everyone else, his crew is polite and he takes the extra steps to make sure that you are happy.

It turned out great.  Contractor was punctual, friendly and his help was good too.  It looks fabulous, just as wee had anticipated.  My husband is very picky and he is also very pleased!

The entire process went very well. Unlike several other contractors Bill actually returned calls and showed up to do the bid. He gave me plenty of time and worked with me to finalize the design. When they poured the concrete it had to be wheel barrowed to the backyard and they were careful to the lawn and put plywood down. The end result came out very nice, I didn't feel like they rushed through any of the steps and were very professional all the way through, and the price was quite fair. As a retired carpenter with over 30 years in the trades I do know of what I speak.

Out of 4 bids they were the cheapest. They were very professional and they worked very hot. The temperatures were extreme and they still worked very hard. They previous walkway was done terribly and they had to tear that up and replace it.
