I have been there before. It is a neighborhood shop. They get me in pretty quickly.

We had put off the expense of a brake job until the scary noises spurred us into action. Friends and family recommended Six Star. They met their estimates on time and expense and the brakes perform flawlessly. They also did the 60,000 mile tune up with no added drama.

My 1987 Subaru GL would not start after changing the spark plugs. Six Star got me in quickly and diagnosed the problem as a distributor that had been installed incorrectly by someone else previously and that is why the car would not start with the plugs and wires installed according to manufacturer specs. They fixed a plug that had cracked and put the distributor in the correct way.

Six Star seems to be characterized by courtesy, service and results. We were treated kindly, and our problems were resolved in a timely manner. We are very likely to return for repairs. They even have coffee and cookies.

There were no problems, It took as long as they said it would and were no surprises. However, the next time I needed a oil change I took my vehicle some where else and they said oil was leaking. I asked them if it could have been from the previous stated service. The said yes. I called Six Star Automotive and asked if they gaurenteed their work. They said of course. I explained what the dealership had said they found. They said to bring my car right in and they would look at it. They did that and said they did not find such a problem. My car is still running fine and it has 212,000 miles on it.

My 1995 Chevy Astro had a loud noise in the front end and Six Star diagnosed the problem as a bad impeller shaft.
