I'm not a fan on the up-sell, especially when I call inquiring about a
specific service and the mechanic isn't familiar with my vehicle.

What I especially like is that I get an honest assessment of what needs to be done now, what can wait and what the approximate costs will be. That way I can budget from one service call to the next. With some mechanics I have sometimes felt that I was paying for them to and quot;thinkand quot; about how to fix my car in addition to the time actually spent working on it, but that has never been an issue with McCall's. In fact, there have been a few times when I know that he did not charge me for as much time as he actually spent on the car. His rates are probably about the same as other mechanics, but when I write the check to him I always feel like I've been treated fairly. He knows what he's doing, operates in a professional matter and treats his customers with honesty and respect -- don't think you can ask for much more.

I needed new spark plugs and a new fuel filter installed. On newer trucks that is not something you can
do yourself. I called all the repair shops in town, and they had the best price.
Very happy with their work and their customer service.
