It has and continue one of the worst cases of greed and minipulation I have ever see or heard about. He has stalled and over charged my mothers estate for going on four years, there are hundreds of thousands of dollars that can't be accounted for. He has lied to me over and over and when he got tired of me inquiring about distributing funds belong to me from my share of the estate, he trespassed my wife and myself from his place of business. We had court on 01/04/2016 where the judge recommended a audit by the supreme court accounting division. We are awaiting an order from the judge currently pending the audit. She stated that the charges from Mr Chapin were absorbent and asked him who do you answer to as an accountant and Mr Chapin replied (MYSELF). MR Chapin is not liesenced or certified. I have received a very small portion of my inheritance much less then Mr Chapin has paid himself. I would just like to say in his final accounting of my mothers estate his hourly rate for just basic things such as receiving and reviewing fax's, receiving telephone calls varied from $ 480.00 an hour to $120.00. In my opinion Mr Chapin is at the very least unethical and lacks any sense of integrity. We are appauled at Mr chapins lack of commitment to the beneficiary's. Again in my opinion this man does not to deserve to be associated with the reputable business's on Angie's list.
