Two separate appliances in my shop were apparently without power (the shop furnace and an outside outlet). I thought there may be something wrong with the circuit at the circuit breaker so I called Tim and asked him to take a look. He was able to schedule a time within 1 day. After inspecting it (and finding nothing wrong) he discovered that it was two unrelated problems 1) the GCFI switch on the interior outlet to which the the exterior outlet was connected had been tripped. 2) The thermostat on the furnace had batteries that were almost dead (though the thermostat was still displaying "LO" on the LCD). Tim charged me nothing - though I insisted that I at least pay for his gas (after feeling so foolish for not figuring those things out for myself). Tim was prompt, courteous and thorough. Will definitely call him again.
