Auto Tires
At first, when we began visiting Tri State, they were very good and knowledgeable. But, in the last year their service began a considerable decline! Our main issue was the check engine light was on in my husband's car for about a year and a half. We took it into Tri State multiple times and they always looked at it and said they couldn't figure out why it was on and that the car was fine. At the same time, the car had problems starting and it would take a few seconds to get the starter to turn over. They again said the car looked fine and there was nothing wrong with it. We took their word for it....Bad idea. We have recently taken it to a different mechanic in Rexburg and he immediately knew what the problem was, even before looking under the hood! The sad thing is, it was such a bad fix that it has cost us almost $1,000 because the problem had gone on for sooo long!! It would have been an easy fix had Tri State recognized the problem when it first began.
The main reason we decided to leave, though, was they were completing work on my husband's car and said it would be done by a certain day. When they day came, they told him it wouldn't be done until the next. Finally we went to pick it up and they said they didn't have it finished and it would be done later in the day. My husband works in Idaho Falls and needed to be at work in the morning, so he had to take my car to work because Tri State couldn't keep their deadlines. They had no remorse and didn't seem to care that they had seriously inconvenienced my husband!
Don't go to Tri State!!!! They do not have the proper knowledge of vehicles and they do not care for long term customers!
