Furniture - Sales, Appliance Sale
The problem I had was not with the appliance or the sales people at the store. They treated me very well.
My problem was with the installer. The moment he walked in the house he started trying to get out of installing the dishwasher. First he looked at the old one and said he couldn't do it because the hookups weren't comparable. I told him I paid the extra money so I wanted it installed. Then he pulled the old one out and told me I would have to have it re-plumed because they were different hookups. I reminded him again about the installation fee I had already paid. He then figured it out, but started putting down my mothers house, right in front of her. He acted pretty upset because I told him I paid to have it installed and I wanted in installed. I basically had to make him finish the installation. Eventually he finished the installation without having to use any parts that didn't already come with the machine. Apparently the manufacturer included extra parts for just that reason. But the guy was rude and offensive to both me and my mother. I was glad I could be there so my 80 year old mother didn't have to deal with this guy alone.
While I believe I may use bingham and sons in the future for floor coverings or something like that, I wont buy an appliance from them again if that person is the one who will install it.
