They were very professional. The charges for my car were much lower than I expected. To fix the idle issue they used a cleaner solution which was much cheaper than replacing parts. They pointed out it may not work but so far no issues. They also fixed my brakes and did the 125,000 service. I expected to pay around $1500 for all the work and it was about half that. I would highly reccommend them if you need your car serviced.
The only thing I may have wrong is the date. I cannot remember when I had the work done but it was last year.

He was very pleased. He intends to use them again. He was very impressed with them. All of the guys came over to look at the old car and the guy who’s in charge walked around it and he knew where the model was made. That was pretty impressive.

Fast honest and clear discussion of problems. They found simple explanations for both problems and fixed them where a dishonest repair place could have pushed for expensive and unnecessary repairs. Left us with a good understanding of what went wrong and what to do in case of further trouble.

Their service has been fine. The car always needs a lot of work. They keep the car running. My Lexus is ten years old now and I am happy with their work. They are friendly people.

I called the day before, made an appointment for the following day, and dropped my car off in the morning. I called back around 3 pm, and the problem had already been repaired. The cost was fair and Dennis was honest. My only complaint was that I was not called back earlier when the problem was diagnosed with an estimate of time and cost. But because it was low, this didn't really bother me. I would have liked a call a bit earlier with the information about my car. Other than that, great service!

My experience was not like the other Angie's List members.   I think they probably have too much business for their own good, as there were a ton of customers waiting.  I imagine that affects the quality and timeliness of service provided to newer customers.   I did like the guy I met at the end of the day and if I'd been dealing with him the whole time, I think my overall experience might have been different.
I waited an entire week for an appointment and dropped my car off early in the morning.  But by after lunch, they hadn't even looked at the car.    They went forward with the muffler hanger repair when I said it was not important (although the price was reasonable on this item and the work performed was quality).   They also were supposed to replace a battery in my remote controlled door opener, but then returned the remote with the back piece missing.   I had to go to the dealership to get a replacement since it's a programmable remote.
My car is old (1996) and very high mileage, and I am trying to keep it going a few more months before I purchase another.    I am absolutely not interested in high dollar repairs that are not necessary for short term use of the car.
I came in because I had a squeak and rattle in my driver side front wheel area and I wanted to know what the problem was - shock, spring, bearing/bushing, etc.   Instead of getting a quote isolated to the particular noise that I heard, I got an overall diagnosis of an old suspension system with quotes to replace basically everything in the entire front end.    The reason I chose this store were the reviews that said they only repair exactly what needs immediate repair.   I could have gone to any chain store for a diagnosis to replace the entire front end on a high mileage car.
I checked with another highly rated mechanic across the street from my hotel and he told me that all of the bearings and bushings were individually replaceable and they (Precision) were taking the easy way out to repair it.   Yes, their repairs would have worked, but I would have spent much more than necessary.   I only wanted to repair that which was necessary to prevent further damage to the car.
Originally I was going to have the remaining work done here because I thought there was no other choice, but after talking to other people locally and my mechanic back home, I decided against doing the $2000 or so in repairs they suggested on a 1996 car with 200,000+ miles on it.
They had a ton of people in the shop and many knew the owner personally.   My general impression is that the guy who took my car that morning just started making a list of everything that was old and worn, rather than focusing on the specific repair that I requested.   I think if I had talked to the owner that morning, I might have had a different experience.
I don't dispute that all the items are old and worn, but there was one item broken and the rest were just worn and old.  I only wanted to repair the broken items, not build my car from scratch.    I do not feel they tried to focus on what needed to be done, but instead focused on what could be done in a perfect world with endless resources.
As I am out of state without a lot of options, I definitely did not appreciate this approach.

The experience was excellent.  I would definitely hire them again and will probably have them service the car they inspected for me.

He is always very good and trustworthy.  He is generous about what he?ll do for you.  I was referred to him by friends and they are very conscientious about checking people out so I felt good about him.  I have never been disappointed.  He works on all sorts of cars and I go to him all the time.  The people there are helpful and they explain things.  I never feel like they are trying to find a problem so they can charge me more money; I would say they are fair in that way.

When I talked to Dennis on the phone about my car not starting, he mentioned several possible repair options. In a few short sentences, I could tell he didn't just want to replace the battery. He wanted to find the cause of the problem and address it as well. Although I could have gotten a new battery from AAA, the repair guy and tow truck from there were in my driveway, I liked Dennis' logical reasoning and decided that since the price was comparable and the ratings on Angies were very high, I'd try Precision. I needed a good new mechanic anyway. Sure enough Dennis helped me right away. He found the cause and repaired it. He gave me different choices as he worked. He also pointed out other issues that needed attention and gave me estimates on them. He charged what he said he would. His shop is really clean and organized. He jumped on my car's problems right away and worked swiftly and thoroughly. He is a good communicator as well as a good mechanic. I was out of the shop very quickly and I felt like I knew what shape my car was in. The car worked beautifully after he finished.

There was some small problem I had with my car and they wound up. I was not 100% sure of what they did and they gave me a detailed bill, which I didn't read. But they fixed the problem and I was definitely happy with the work they did. It seemed expensive but they didn't charge me a lot of money for the service and I was very happy. I will certainly use them again. They fixed the problem inexpensively and I saved money. I can say my car has been reliable over the last month and I can't be honest if it will be good for a year from now but it's been good so far.

I've been taking both my cars to these guys for years (approx 7+ yrs). In fact I've had them perform all the regular service on my Volkswagen instead of the dealer because I've had nothing but lousy experiences with the local dealers. They have not disappointed me yet. In fact the only times I've been disappointed are when I've let the dealer perform the repair instead of Precision Automotive. These guys are very honest and very competent and their prices are very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

They are very honest. They don't act like you are inferior. They give you the broken parts to explain what is wrong. They will tell you if a problem is worth fixing of if it can wait. they don't try to fix things if they don't think they can fix them right. We have used them for at least ten years and they are very nice.
