Precision Air Heating & Cooling

My a/c at home quit working. It was a Saturday and a hot day. I called the origional installer of the heating - a/c system and got a recorder. I called 4 other repair contractors who advertised 24 hour service. Precision Air Heating and Cooling was the only one to respond. Others waited until Monday or Tuesday. Owner Brian Smasne came over and diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. My a/c compressor had grounded out and fried. Brian called the next day and informed me the 6 yr old compressor had a 10 yr warranty. He installed the new compressor but wasn't satisfied with the systems performance. His pressure reading equipment was showing poor suction and equalizing pressures. He peeled off some insulation around the tubing leading to the compressor and we were both shocked to find the metal tubing kinked/bent in two places where elbow joints should have been installed. The origional installing company had gone out of business a month prior (they didnt call me back when I placed a call to them). Brian repaired the tubing properly and gave me the sections he cut. I plan on showing the builder this tubing. My air conditioning system works more effeciently, blows colder and runs less than it did before thanks to Brian Smasne at Precision Air Heating and Cooling.
