No problems, however previously this dealer tried to sell services which were not needed. About 80,000 miles ago on my Jeep Grand Cheerokee I complained about a slightly rough shift when going into second gear. I was told the seals were bad and I definitely needed a total transmession rebuild for about $1800 and I was lucky to find this problem now before damage happened. I than went to a reputible transmission dealer (hard to find) and he recommended just a fluid change. He also recommended an additive which he did not carry in case the problem returned. Now it is 80,000 miles later without any problems. I did not even get the additive.

I had known for some time that I needed my struts replaced but had to wait until I had the money. I scheduled my appointment for a Monday which is my only weekday off. I dropped my car off and used the dealerships shuttle service. It is wonderful that they provide a ride to and from the dealership when having work done on your car. Mike, the service manager, called a few hours later and told me that the rear spindles would need to be replace as the bolts broke off when trying to replace the struts. The parts would have to be order from out of state. Mike offered to pay for a rental car while mine was being fixed. He sent the shuttle drive out to my house who then took me to car rental agency. The next day Mike again called saying the found another part they would have to order to be shipped in. He told me to continue using the rental car until mine was ready. I was unable to make it to the dealership before they closed the day my car was done. Again Mike told me to just bring the rental by the next day when it was convenient for me. When I finally came to pick up my car Mike said it was having the headlights polished out. He said he notice how scuffed and dull they were so he had them resurfaced. This he did out of shear kindness and generosity at no charge. Mike also took me in to the service garage and introduced me to the mechanic that worked on my car. The mechanic showed me the old spindle with the broken bolts and all the other old parts. Mike went over my entire bill with me so I would understand all the charges. He even gave me a discount on some of the parts which amount to about $200.00. Add that to the 3 days of courtesy car rental and you have a very well taken care of customer. I did take the car back a day or so later to get the alinement done, which again, Mike covered this as a courtesy. I certainly didn't want to have to spend as much as did but this is the only car I have and depend on it. It now drives like a dream and I feel very safe. I've never had such exceptional service from a dealership and will continue to use Midway Chrysler for all my services. On a side note. If you have your car worked on in the morning you will be treated to fresh baked cookies. They are prepared right in the service lounge along with the fresh coffee. Nice little treat.
