SEW FANCY

We bought a wedding dress for my daughter from Happily Ever After on 04/12/2012. My daughter is small so we needed some alterations, the owner of the dress shop recommended Pam the owner of Sew Fancy. All she had to do is shorten the dress and make the back lace up. She quoted us a price of $20.00. After a month of not hearing anything we tried to get ahold of her by telephone. No Answer and her mailbox was full. We just kept trying. Finally we got ahold of her about the beggining of May, she said she got busy with Prom and could we give her a couple more weeks. Being understanding my daughter agreed, and then it started again, no answer on the phone, full mailbox. My daughter finally got ahold of the dress shop and told her the problem and like a miracle, Pam answered her phone and told her "it is Monday, my day off.....call me back tomorrow' at this point I was getting FURIOUS trying to keep my cool and keep my daughter calm. We finally got ahold of her the next day 06/19/2012 and met her at the dress shop. She did a HORRIBLE job on the dress. There are strings sticking out everywhere and whe she cut it she didn't finish it. IT WAS JUST CUT! And to top it off she charged us $30.00. I asked if the extra $10.00 was for storage. I was so mad at this point I just paid her and walked out of the shop. I would not recommend her OR the dress shop. A wedding is stressful enough so don't add more stress by hiring her.
