The provider did a fine job - arrived on time, did tidy work.
Cost was high for such a quick job.
There seemed to be a lack of communication between "the office" and the on-site workers.

I thought the service went well. They didn't really vacuum too well afterwards but overall, they seemed professional and had the necessary clothing. Everything went great except for afterwards when they let me know that they would not provide a receipt until after they cashed in our check. I didn't agree with this at all because it means it could take up to a month for that receipt to be provided. As soon as cash is surrendered, they should be providing you with a receipt. When I talked to them over the phone, they said they had to wait until they recieved their bank statement.
Response from Rocky Mountain Insulation Services
"This does not make any sense to me. All customers are left with a receipt upon signing up and paying. The customer was left with an invoice that is marked paid in full at completion of service and time of payment."

This company came to my door offering to put an extra layer of insulation in the upstairs with a rebate from Columbia Gas.   They were very low pressure with the sales, and they left me some information to think about it.  I checked them out by calling Columbia gas and then proceeded with the work. When they arrived they mentioned another layer of insulation in addition to the one I signed up for, but they offered this at no pressure and accepted my answer of no.  I got 330 dollars back from right away, and I also am getting a tax credit, making the insulation cost a little less than $200. This is exactly what they said to me; there have been no hidden cost.  It is hard to judge quality with this job because you can't see it, but the upstairs does seem to hold its temperature better.
