About us

Economy Heating is a small, family-owned business that has been serving Pocatello for over 50 years. There are 15 employees, including two service technicians for residential and commercial customers. As we have a dedicated office manager that reviews and hand-prices every individual invoice before it is sent to customers to ensure that each bill is fair, there is usually a one-three week time frame from the time the work has been completed and when the invoice is mailed. We offer financing options to customers on a case-by-case basis. We work everyday to keep our prices on labor and materials affordable and we also offer special promotions on Facebook and Yelp. We offer special promotions on our maintenance program in the spring and fall.

Services we offer

We service and install all residential and commercial furnaces, air conditioning systems, and ice machines. We have senior technicians that do custom sheet metal work. Lastly, and water heaters. We repair issues regarding gas leaks. We service restaurant refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers, duct work, freezers, ovens, prep tables, rooftop units, we offer a maintenance program to our residential and commercial customers.

The electronic ignition went out Saturday morning, i called Economy Heating and their answering service had a technician call me. The call back was within 5 minutes. I gave the technician my furnace make and model and described the problem. When he arrived he had the part, fixed the furnace part that was bad, did a maintenance service on the furnace and explained everything i asked. He was very courteous, professional and friendly. The cost of the part and labor were honest. So in short, the work was excellent and the technician was friendly and helpful.

Woke up this morning to the furnace not kicking on. It was calling for heat, but putting out none. We had bought the furnace system through Economy heating approximately 15 years ago because we knew they would be in business for the long run. We called Economy and reported the problem this morning and were told that a repairman would be out this afternoon. An hour later, we got a call saying he was on the way. When he arrived, he checked what could be the easiest repair, and found that that was not the problem, so he went further and found that the igniter was cracked. He had the needed part with him and replaced it right then. The whole visit lasted 1 1/2 hours. Couldn't be happier!

This is a company that I use for ALL of our heating and air conditioning needs. They are ALWAYS prompt and courteous. I get a phone call in the morning telling me an approximate arrival time and another call about 15 minutes before arriving. I never have to wonder how long I will be waiting and can go on with my day. I have used this company repeatedly in my home and business. I am always pleased with the friendly and professional service I receive.
