My husband spoke to her around 9:30 pm alerting her to the issue, and again at 2;30 am to ask
for her to please see us.
She was rude on the phone call and seemed to not want to be bothered. (why be on call /or a vet)
When she greeted us ten min later at her clinic, I instantly knew she did not want to be there. She was
abrupt , rude , critical about our normal vet and choices we had made, and kept repeating how much
different options would cost , almost like if she told us the price, we would not choose the option.
She showed little or no compassion about telling us our pet would most likely not live thru the night. And
made sure she got her $350 before we left (17 min) we were there. And when I chose to take my baby home
with me , she threw in her comments about that trying to scare me I guess. However I was not about
to leave my sweet little dog there to die with someone who was clearly not showing any compassion or
professionalism and was out and out rude.
I took my pet home and at 7;30 am went to our regular vet, and my dear little girl died 5 hours later.
I would not of used this vet / but she was on late night call for our area, and I will never use that service again
or that clinic. If anyone asks me , THE VET does not like her JOB. and should not be taking care of animals.
I wonder how she would feel if I was a Dr. and treated her child that way.
The price was $250 for the visit -told on phone bring $250 and the other 100 was for the x- ray.
$350 for 17 min of being treated like a burden, being treated rude all while realizing my 8 yr old pet whom I've had since 8 weeks was going to die within the next few hours. Thanks but no thanks !
