Bison Electric

Gary Hess was fast and efficient and direct. He had a scene of humove and lots of knowledge. We thought he was great!!!

They showed up early every day and worked through the day, breaking for lunch (30 min to 1 hour). They were in constant communication with me at every step of the way. They were very professional yet friendly and willing to answer any question I had. (I had a lot of questions) They never complained about my dogs and were always accommodating when I needed to let the dogs out for a while. One of things that impressed me about Bison Electric is that they not once left a mess at the end of the day. They kept their tools up and picked up all scraps as they worked. They even patched the holes left by the removal of conduit, etc. Although my life is different from Gary's and Casey's I feel like I made a couple new friends. Great guys, awesome work ethics, and honest. Gary was even available to me after hours! I had questions and was able to reach him on his cell phone (the number he gave me at the beginning of the job. Would I hire them again? ABSOLUTELY!!!

Left his working area spotless every day and cleaned up at the end. Very genuine and honest person but at the same time very professional. I am recommending him to all my friends.

This was our first use of an Electrical contractor. We had some recepticals not working in the kitchen and living room areas, and no current out to the garage, plus in preparation in getting the home on the market for sale wanted to have the wiring checked thoroughly. Gary Jess, owner of Bison Electric was referred to us by another respected Electrican. After leaving a short message of our needs he returned my call very quickly, we arranged date and time to meet at the home. Mr. Jess was right there and on time, he inspected the wiring found the problems for the non working recepticals as well as some potential safety hazards with wiring and our need to have good junction box in attic above the main panel, as well as what was needed to restore current to the garage. He explained, understandably for us, what was needed to be done and what parts he'd probably need to pick up, gave us an estimate of the costs and labor. Also, very pleasing surprise, he said he'd be able to start that afternoon and would be able to come back over the next two days if needed. Mr. Jess left for another appointment after we'd accepted his bid and was right back that afternoon to work on the tasks. He worked quickly and carefully, watching him you knew he was very experienced and organized in getting the work done. When asked questions about the wiring etc. he was very patient and amiable in answering them as this home was built in the 1940's and we wondered about house wiring then and now. Mr. Jess arrived promptly the following morning and finished the job, we had current running (safely, as well) throughout the house and in the garage. He supplied a good detailed invoice of his services and labor. Mr. Jess stuck to immediate concerns and potential fixes that had to be addressed, he did discuss other options, after he'd finished, that could be done at a later date if we chose plus an estimate of costs for them. He did not push these options on us and said if we'd like to supply his card to buyer he'd be happy to discuss it with them as he now knew the layout of the wiring and the house, it was up to us.
Mr. Jess also has a pleasant personality, it was nice to talk with a contractor that actually looked at you and acted like he was listening, as we are not electricians he was, I feel, very patient in explaining things and tried his best to put it in an understandable way for us. We felt he was forthright and honest in dealing with the electrical system of the home, we feel he did a good job and if ever we need electrical services again would contact Bison Electric first and be comfortable in referring his services to others.
