Real Estate Auctions
Roger Nakashima, owner and operator of Snake River Auction is not a man of his word. Our items were to be sold at an estate auction for a 20% commission, with the option to buy back if reserve was not met. Seven items were sold, two were bought back because they did not reach the reserve price agreed upon between Roger Nakashima and us. Total sales were $1,815.00, commission was $363.00, this is what was agreed upon. In addition, charges were added for Pro rata Advertising Expense of $222.00 and Pro rata Site Expense at $324.99 for a balance owed of $546.99 in addition to the 20% commission. These charges were NOT discussed beforehand and were discovered on the final invoice when payment was received.
