They came right out, did a good job on the bid and we've had no problems with their installation. I spent less than $1000. The job was good. They were responsive, personable when I went into the store and they were very helpful when I wanted to pick out tile. I got 3 bids and they were very reasonable.

We visited Nampa Flooring on Maple Grove in Boise because we were considering having new laminate floors installed. We set an appointment to have them come and measure our home on July 18 so that they could provide us with an estimate.
Measurements were taken and we were promised an estimate either the following day (Friday) or Monday of the following week. Monday had come and gone and we hadn't heard a word from Nampa flooring. (It's worth mentioning that an installer from another company also visited us on the 18th and we had their estimate later than night.) We called Nampa Flooring on Tuesday the 23rd and left a voice mail asking about our estimate. As of today, July 29, they have not returned our call.

Hardwood floors installed. Initial work looked okay. Had I not been on site there would have been somethings left undone. Fireplace tile was chipped during installation. A few boards cot to short around cabinets, and filled in with clear caulking. WHere hardwood met carpet, the carpet padding was torn away instead of being cut. This left some carpeting without padding underneath. The ongoing problem with Nampa floors has been getting them to respond to the problems that persisted after the install. Warped splintering planks, and .25 inch gaps in-between planks in many places. After repeated calls over the past two years they have depleted my overage of boards, and have never addressed the gaps in the boards other than to say they will send the supplier rep out to look at it. I never hear back to hear what the rep said. I have had other floor experts come in, and they have told me the gaps are way outside of industry standard. Even though I was told this wood had a 25 year guarantee, it means nothing because Nampa floors wont adress the problem. Is it to much to ask that a job be done right, or made right when things are pointed out that are clearly unsatisfactory? Shop else where if you want service after the sale.

I went to Nampa Floors to pick out vinyl for two bathrooms. They have a beautiful showroom. Mitch was my salesman. They must be pretty busy. He started helping me but left to help another customer while I was looking at vinyl. I had to find him after I had picked one out. I asked him about measuring our bathrooms to be sure there would be enough vinyl. I said I'd be home all day. He did come out to measure fairly quickly. However, he never sent me an estimate.
I called him the following week and left a voicemail. He didn't return my call.
I called him again two days later. He apologized and said they were just swamped. I said maybe they were too busy for a small job like mine. He said he'd hate to say they were too busy for a job. He asked me questions about what kind of floor we had. (I had torn out carpet and he was trying to ascertain if we needed some kind of underlayment.) He was supposed to call back. He didn't call back but he did show up about two hours later. (I wasn't expecting him but he did get to see our floor.)
I appreciate that he came to our house to determine what kind of subflooring we had. I was disappointed that I never did get an estimate. I ended up going to Dillabaugh Flooring in Nampa instead. I got the estimate the same day and our new vinyl is already in.

I went to this company right after purchasing my home in November of
2012 and talked to a very nice gentleman in the office, he was very
professional and courteous. I had them come out to give a estimate on
replacing the floors in the home, the gentleman that came was also very
nice. I explained that I was having the house painted so it would be a
couple of weeks before I would be having the floors done. Since I had not heard from them,
when i was ready to replace the floors I called and was
transferred to a voice mail, I left a message letting the gentleman know
I was ready to do the flooring and would like the estimate. I never
heard back from them. I was very disappointed with them for not
following through on this and I would not use them in the future. I did
get the floors done and paid much less for the same materials that I had
looked at in their Showroom.

pqI was disappointed that we were immediately steered toward the lowest end linoleum in the span of choices.  We were assured that a "good" rating was still adequate for a small bathroom.  We trusted what they said, and chose the color.  Time will tell if the quality holds up.  So far, the floor looks great!  In the showroom, the salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable.

Our experience started well, got rough in the middle, and gladly
finished to a fantastic conclusion. I
waited to right this review in hopes that Nampa Floor would pull through a turn
the job right which they happily did.

We started our flooring shopping experience by walking into
their floor show room and looking at their great variety of different
floors. A salesman there was great and
answered all our questions. We came back
a week later ready to place our order.

Once the order was placed, we paid 80% then and 20% upon
completion. This is when the troubles
started. It all stemmed from what seemed
to be a bum contractor they were using. He
did not show up when he said he would, sometimes brought his girlfriend along
without really explaining to us who was not hanging around in our house. He was not supposed to reinstall our toilet per
Nampa Floor policy, but did it anyway.
At first, we thought he was being a nice guy. Turns out, it was installed wrong and started
leaking.

Now, we can understand a bum contractor. It happens.
We just wanted Nampa Floor to help correct issues and help resolve some
of our concerns. This entire time we
were dealing with the same salesman who sold us the vinyl.

Our salesman did a great job selling our flooring but seem
to have a hard time dealing with our bum contractor. Our issues and concerns went on for a few
months as we patiently worked with our salesman. Finally, after losing our patience, we called
the store manager and explained what was going on.

The manager was very nice and listened to all our concerns. He promptly made an appointment to see us
personally that same day. We found this
prompt response very refreshing. The
store manager took ownership of the situation and quickly worked to fix the
problems. He even went beyond issues
that were theirs to fix to ensure we were taken care of.

All this was done at their expense. They called in a plummer to reseat the
toilet, replace some air vents even though that was outside the scope of their
work, replaced some edging that was in the house before so it matched the new
edging we just bought from them, and worked closely with us to ensure the
project was done right.

In the end we felt very well taken care of. I feel our experience was a rare one that is
not normal for Nampa Floors. I plan on
going back to them when I need the carpet in my home replace.

he only thing that bothered me was that they would send out their best guy to get the work started with a couple of other guys, and then that person leaves. So then you have got unsupervised or people with less experience finishing the floors. Then there were some issues as they were installing the boards, there was more of a gap than I was happy with. Had I not been here to actually oversee the whole thing, I have a feeling they would have cut a lot more corners. There was a little lack of supervision on the install team. Overall, the 2 gentleman that were here did a pretty good job. I am just a little concerned about some of the things that they did do that I had to call in to question. They were kind of slow in responding. They were here when they said they would be. Overall I think it's a pretty good company, but they have got a lot of room for improvement. If I were to use them again, I would definitely work on getting some more guarantees and insurances on different things.

The guy was very helpful and had a lot of good ideas. I ended up taking some carpet samples home. The only problem was that he wouldn't give me pricing per square-foot and wasn't very forthcoming with the pricing, which didn't seem right and ended up not using him.

We purchased a short sell house and the travertine tile in the kitchen was cracking and grout was popping out.
Majestic Flooring told us it was not a problem and replaced the tiles and re-grouted, just to have them crack and grout pop again. They then decided it was the floor needing more support. So we had new support put in. The tiles still cracked and popped. After four different "fixes" (being charged for all), I called a few different flooring companies to see if anyone knew what was going on.

Tammy and Morris showed up and dug right in to find the problem. They were able to see that the tile was installed incorrectly and gave us the lowdown on the options we had.

We decided to bite the bullet and have them remove and replace all the tile.

I have never had installers that we so professional and knowledgeable. They kept us updated, helped move appliances, and were committed to do it right. During the install they broke a small area on our wood floor that is in the middle of the tile. They fixed the edge, sanded the floor and refinished the floor.. all on their dime.

It took the exact time that they said it would, there were no extra costs, and it looks fantastic. VERY HAPPY with Nampa floors.

We made an appointment with the Maple Grove store for Herb to measure for carpet. He didn't show. When I called the store, they said someone else was scheduled to meet us but he got hung up with a customer in the store and hadn't made it over. This was 1/2 hour after he was supposed to arrive. No call to let us know they were running late or anything. So, my husband and I took time off from work FOR NOTHING! I suspect there are plenty of other carpet purveyors in the valley who would be way more professional.

The man came out and measured, said he'd give the information to their designer. I never heard a word from him. I didn't call because I figured that if he couldn't take the time to call me, then the company probably wouldn't be very punctual with their work.

I thought that the price was fair because it was covered by our insurance. We did pay extra for the tile because we did not want vinyl flooring. They had a good selection and the installer that they sent did a good job.

I did a whole lot of research before I went with Nampa Floors. I checked every carpet company in the valley just about. I got at least a dozen quotes. Here's the back story. We purchased a bank repossessed house in Kuna. It needed some work, and new carpets were on top of that list. But, time was tight. I ripped out the old carpet and pad myself, and painted all interior walls. I needed the new carpet to go in as soon as I was done, so we could move it. Every extra day was costing me money. David at Nampa Floors was very understanding and worked with my schedule to get the carpet in on time and the contractor there the very next day. It all went very smoothly, and the carpet looks great. One thing I really liked was that David was willing to take the time to redo the quote with different carpet choices, and different colors on different floors (two story house). Even though we flat out told him we were waiting on a quote from another company, he still came out and measured our house a second time so he could redo the quote for yet another carpet choice. And then after that, we changed our mind again and he had to redo the quote a third time. All this, and we had not finalized our choice of Nampa Floors. He was very courteous and friendly the whole time. Customer service weighed heavy in my decision to go with Nampa Floors. David was also the first company to measure my house and get me a quote back. Other carpet companies required me to call them several times before I got a response. In the end Nampa floors was not the cheapest quote, but they were the best value. We got carpet we really liked, with a great warranty. What I really like is that we were able to get different colors for the first and second floor. He worked the numbers until he figured it out and it only costs about $100 extra for changing out colors. Non of the other companies were willing to do all the extra labor needed to figure that out. I really enjoyed working with David Orias. Customer service does matter, and David knows that. One last thing, the actual carpet was obviously installed by a contractor, not Nampa Floors directly. They did a great job as well. David called a few days after installation to make sure everything went as planned and that I was satisfied. I appreciated the followup. When you spend this much money, you want it done right.
