All done within the promised time. Workers great to deal with, answered questions I had. Cleanup was done well.

Shannon in the office is AWESOME! She is knowledgable and has great customer service. The crews that come out and work are skilled and don't waste their time or yours!

Because I work out of my home , I had full view of the work and effort that the owner, Tom, and his crew gave to transform my landscape. I've made several mistakes with landscapers in the past--and am currently scheduled in Ada County Small Claims Court with one of my mistakes--so I fully recognize and appreciate the difference I see with Legends Landscaping. They were referred by a friend who had work done last summer, and she encouraged me to go with them.
The prices were a bit higher than another contractor, but the difference is night and day. Folks, cost estimates are meaningless if you have landscaping crew members showing up to your property asking YOU what they should do because their boss had not given them direction (at $30/hour)!! YOU WILL NOT SEE THIS WITH LEGENDS LANDSCAPING. THEY ARE HARD WORKING, COURTEOUS, AND EFFICIENT.
Like I mentioned above, I've been disappointed with several landscapers in the past and really feel great about my choice this time. I will recommend Legends Landscaping to anyone and everyone who compliments my new landscaping. They have restored my faith in the small Idaho business owner... and I appreciate that.

I had a poured-in-place curb separating my yard from the driveway, but it was so old it had crumbled down to ground level. I told the person from Legends that initially came out to bid the job that the remainder of the curb below ground level had to be removed, then the resulting trench could be prepared level and at the proper depth to put in the new extruded curbing. This way, the edge of the driveway could be used to guide the extrusion so it was straight. The guys who came out a few days later were evidently not told any of this, so they just did the extrusion on top of the crumbled curb. The result was that the lawnmower-edge curbing they put in was completely above ground level, rendering it unusable for running the lawnmower wheels on, and worst of all it was crooked as H*** because they had nothing to guide their machine to go in a straight line.
They also did some curved extruded curbing to delineate a flower bed area alongside the house. Once again, the ground was not properly prepared, because where they should have removed the sod where the extrusion was to be placed so that the mower-edge was at the proper height, they instead trenched it barely below ground level so the mower-edge was way too high to use. Just a total lack of common sense and unwillingness to do the physical labor necessary to properly prepare the ground before laying down the extrusion.
On the positive side, I called them up to complain and no one answered so I left a message that I wanted the curbing they had done removed so that someone who knew what they were could come out and do the job right, and by the time I got home from work the next day it was all gone, and they never argued or asked for any money.

From beginning to end Tom was responsive, professional and very easy to work with. Their estimate was right on even though it took them much longer to complete due to uncooperative weather. When we had one thing we wanted done differently at the end they came back quickly and finished job quickly exactly how we wanted.
