Brett's Lawn Care Inc.

I only used Brett's Lawn Care for less than 2 months. In that short time there were multiple issues including mower tech tearing up my lawn with the lawn mower, hitting my house bending the metal flashing on my new A-framed roof, having to call multiple times to have weeds taken care of that were included in the bid and the final straw was being charged a $65 service call for my sprinklers for the service tech to add 10 minutes and one day to my watering cycle with no results. The dry spot in my front yard was actually worse. I emailed Brett's Lawn Care and provided pictures to let them know it had not fixed the problem. They called the next day, I was told it would be another $65 service charge even though the service tech had not fixed it the first time. I offered to pay for any parts and labor, but did not feel I should be charged another service fee when the problem was not improved. I was told it would be another service charge for anything other than what they had done on the previous call, which had not worked. When I stated I felt this was poor customer service I was informed, that is their policy and how they do business. My lawn looked ok most weeks and others it was a sloppy, uneven and weeds remained. Due to the lack of consistency and poor customers service I would not recommend this company.

They do a reasonable average job. They do not go the extra mile -- maybe sometimes the extra 1/4 mile. You must be specific and follow up. They usually do what they say they will. Not a bargain but not outrageous. They have been very responsive when there was an emergency with a broken irrigation line or sprinkler head. I'm used to my gardener picking weeds and trimming a bush here-and-there as needed but they will only do so when a tree or bush interferes with their mowing or trimming. They have a lot of commercial and private clients and they come in like a machine, get the work done and are out quickly. Obviously I am not thrilled with their service but they are dependable and I appreciate that.

They really listen to you. If they screw up they are more then willing to fix it. I have used them for 10 years.
