The price is a lot for the small area but they spot treated old spots from before I moved in and got them clean so I was happy with the outcome.
Their truck-mounted system, apparently, has to be at least above freezing so I got delayed for at least a day because it wasn't warm enough.
I couldn't get a hold of the place the rental management company uses since it was the holiday period when I was trying to schedule the cleaning. But I had to give them a receipt for carpet cleaning with a truck-mounted system. So I was glad this company had good ratings already and I could reach them.
The carpet cleaner used plastic booties over his shoes and then left them at the front door so I was able to use them while I was finishing up in my empty apartment and didn't risk re-soiling the carpet since it was wet and dirty outside. I really appreciated that.

Very punctual and appeared knowledgeable about the job. We have an old slate floor that has had some repair work with a few new tiles. The old finish is a medium gloss, so we were seeking to have a uniform finish on the floor. Greg told us he would apply a chemical cleaner and implied that the old finish would be removed. That's not what happened - the old finish is intact although a little duller with more variation of color - overall worse than it was before he worked on the floor. The new tiles look as the did before - this sealer leaves the natural stone appearance - that's fine if all the stone is of the same vintage and finish. And I don't think the sealer he used is particularly well suited for a stone floor. Perhaps we weren't clear enough in our communication of the expected results, but a skilled and knowledgeable tradesman would have done much better - or not taken on the job. I would not hire him for any stone floor work.
Response from A Thorough Clean
"In response to the above review I make the following statement. My only contact with the Customer was with the wife of the customer, and the negotiation and written agreement was made with her. The estimate I left with her was to clean ans seal the floor, there was no mention of the need to remove epoxy. I don't provide the heavy restoration service that would be required to remove an epoxy seal. Had the need to remove epoxy been communicated with me I would not have bid the job. I am surprised by the poor review because after completing the job the customer's wife gave me a tip which would indicate her pleasure with the work. There are many reviews on Angie's list that make a positive review of my work that can be accessed."
