Basin Appliance Repair

Good. Just need a little better communication when parts are ordered. He came the first day I called, but didn't get back to me on when the part would be in for 10 days which left me wondering if he was going to finish the job.

Fixed my problem quickly professionally and inexpensively.

It was quick and painless. Our range was bolted to the floor and sides, but Randy had no problem getting range out to complete repair work required in the back. He was a pleasure to work with.

This is rather hard to rate. It started off on the right track and then went belly up. I paid Angies the required $39.00 and then called to set up an appointment. Randy, the owner, came out. The problem with the stove was it just didn’t heat up to the required setting. A fan would intermitently turn on and cool down the oven. At any rate Randy found the thermostat needed to be re-calibrated. He did that but still had a problem. He then changed a sensor. Seemed ok but remember this was an intermittent problem. But we figured we would wait and see. I paid an additional $96.00. We tried the stove an hour later, same problem. Called Randy and left a message. He didn’t get back to me until the next day. He came out the following day, went through another round of trouble shooting. He “thought” he found the problem and off he went. No charge for that visit. My wife tried cooking dinner...same problem. Now here’s where I’m upset. I called him back and to this date he never returned my call. Done deal. And this happened over Christmas. We tried using the stove for a Christmas prime rib dinner. Destroyed the roast!!! I understand it was a tricky repair. But to never get back to me just wasn’t right. So I’m out $135.00, a $47.00 prime rib, and a stove. We went out a bought a new one.

When my washing machine stopped working, I choose to contact Basin Appliance based on the positive Angie's List reviews this business received. They did not disappoint. Randy's response time was great, He arrived promptly, and quickly diagnosed the issue with my machine. He is very knowledgeable and offered several reasonable repair options. His company offered an affordable service call coupon as well. I will contact Basin Appliance again for my appliance repair needs.

We had been told our refrigerator could not be fixed, but we thought a second opinion (for Angie's special $39.00 rate) was not unreasonable. Randy fixed our wonderful old frig in ten minutes time! Very professional and got here exactly when he promised. We couldn't be happier. Thanks Angie! He only charged us for parts.

Owner Randy Bailey was punctual, clearly knowledgeable and efficient. He answered all of my questions, gave options and let me choose what would work best for me. He replaced the bushing and charged a very reasonable price. He was friendly and personable. I would definitely use him for future appliance repair.

The technician fixed the problem and gave me advice on how to maintain and avoid future problems. He also ask if I had any other appliance issues since he was there and assisted with my refrigerator filter. Work was fast and efficient. Tech was polite and professional.

The technician arrived promptly at the appointed time, analyzed the problem and had the stove part in his service truck to repair the malfunctioned range switch. The overhead light switch presented minimal problem to fix and that took just a few minutes.
