The tech. was on time and in a hour and a half I had light in the kitchen without turning on the lights.  It was done in the length of time I was told and did exactly what I had hoped.   He covered the floors and cleaned up behind himself.  It was refreshing to have someone do a job right the first time.  I am more than happy with the job.

Installer discussed with me what I wanted to accomplish and recommend appropriate solar tubes and locations.  Installer arrived on time for the installation.  Finished all 5 solar tubes in around 4 hours.  Cleaned up afterwards.  Results exceeded my expectations for lighting during the day.

We had an excellent experience. Evan, the installer came by previously to give us an estimate and the estimate was right on. When he did the installation he was extremely professional and courteous. In addition to the normal tasks he also re-painted the rim of the fixtures to match our decor. We are very happy with the results and would definitely use this company again.

The estimate was exactly what the procedure cost and the work was performed in the time quoted (under 2 hours).  The tech even was able to place the Solatube on the the back of the house to minimize its appearance from the street.  The tech was professional, explained every step and ensured that the workspace was tidied before he left.
The installation of the Solatube has provided an remarkable amount of light to a previously dim area.  I could not be more pleased with my experience with Solar Concepts.

Everything was perfect.  I liked their responsive, how fast they came to measure and how fast they had the screens done.  He washed the windows again though it was washed, as he found something on it, before putting the screens on, which was very cool.  I will use his services in future.

I investigated Solatubes online and visited both the Solar-Concepts website and the physical showroom. Greg Olson, the sales and office rep, answered all of my questions, and showed me examples of variously sized tubes and diffusers installed in their office ceiling. They have both kits for DIY installation, or professional installation, as well as Solatubes that meet Energy Star criteria. I had choices all along the way. There is a big difference in cost for professional installation, so know what you want, and what you are capable of doing yourself. I am very happy with the quality of my professional installation. If I had to do it over again, I would replace the 10" Solatube in the kitchen, with a 14" diameter one. By the numbers, my kitchen, at 8' by 12' ( for 96 sq. ft.) should be the right size for the 10" diameter Solatube, which is promoted as providing light coverage for 150-200 sq. ft. In reality, I can see the strong difference in light between the 2 sizes. The 14" one in my dining room has a Wow! factor of light, which constantly makes me think I have a light to turn OFF. The kitchen also has natural light with the Solatube, but the kitchen looks underlit in comparison, so I see that area and constantly think I have to turn ON a light. Switching from the Vusion diffuser (which allows a slight spotlight effect) to the Optiview diffuser (which uses prisms to scatter the light more) helped a bit for the kitchen. And, of course, I am reacting to the sunlight available in October, not the summertime. I recommend installing the 10" diameter Solatube only for hallways and closets....not even for laundry rooms. Also, know what what kind of light you want. The Solatube can be bought with a baffle to close down the sunlight (better for bedrooms). Installed as is, you ALWAYS have natural light. Best for opening up the atmosphere of the house or for work areas. My dining room and kitchen face north and were always dim. I love my new sunlight and I now wish I had installed the Solatubes years sooner.
