We have paid Scotts for a couple of years to take care of our lawn, shrubs and trees. The lawn service has been Ok, no serious problems. But the tree and shrub service has been a waste of money. We have one shrub that died this year. One of our pear trees was having problems (bugs eating the leaves). And now our globe willow is showing brown spots at the end of the leaves. Scotts advertises this on their website for the tree and shrub service:
"Continuous Monitoring Of Your Landscape Plants - Following your initial landscape inspection and evaluation, our Miracle-Gro® Tree and Shrub Care specialists regularly monitor your landscape plants, noting their response to the program and looking for any signs of trouble."
I have seen zero proactive monitoring and prevention of the above mentioned problems. A complete waste of money, considering that I now have a dead shrub and two ailing trees.

I have tried several lawn services.  Although their prices are a bit higher, my lawn has never looked better.  I have no weeds, no bugs, and the thickest, greenest lawn ever.  Great job!

I was concerned with fertilizing when our irrigation has been cut back so drastically this year, but they convinced me it would be fine after I detailed exactly what the watering schedule would be.  After the service, my lawn looked burned and dry.  They came out again and said it needed more water.  I added water with a hose and sprinkler, but still my lawn continued to brown out. 
Yesterday, I got an assessment from another lawn care service. They immediately said it looked like billbugs!  He pulled up some grass with his fingers to check and there were three little white slugs.  He said this is the worst year in five years and I had a really bad infestation.  
Scotts should have caught this two months ago.  Now my lawn is 40% or more dead!  The new service will treat it and Scotts has been cancelled! 

STAY FAR AWAY!!  They had great salesmanship.  When I called them, they made it sound amazing.  The work performed was subpar.  They came and put chemicals on the lawn that are supposed to kill any weeds that are growing.  After a week, the weeds seem to be growing more rapidly.  After I called them to come back out, they came the next day, spent about 30 seconds on my lawn, and then left again.  I have about 3/4 of an acre in grass and there is absolutely no way they could have fixed the weed issue.  They came again a week later (for their normal scheduled visit) and a week later, there are still weeds growing in my lawn.  I have canceled my services with them.

The owner is very professional and spends all the time you need going over what will work best for your needs and situation. My yard looked like I hadn't watered it all year and the weeds were more prevalent than the grass to be honest. My yard is so green now that every time I look outside I just stare in awe! So worth the cost.

We would recommend them. We were using another Company and was dissatisfied with their work performance.Scott's Lawncare is a professional Company compared to the other Company we used in the past.

Service delivered as paid for.  Some confusion with scheduling, and repeat applications, but got a supervisor on the phone who straightened out the problem.   I've been quite pleased with the service and the results.    Next year will be even better once these dang dandelions are completely gone.

As stated above, they have been great to deal with. We would highly recommend.

The applicator is very courteous and friendly, he does his job well. They have an excellent product from the store, the product that the applicator uses to lay down doesn't have iron in it. I feel that is a negative.
