I had a complicated case that required knowledge of the system and good judgment. The owner, Kent, took things on personally given the complexity and, I believe, helped me make the right decision. He explained everything to me clearly and concisely, put me at ease (I was very worried about my situation, which was out of my control due to a prior employer's mistakes), got things back under control, and was a lot of fun to work with. Very good prices. I will be returning next year.

Efficient, competent, courteous and friendly.

Great experience at Sageland CPA.  I'm a professional and good at what I do but I don't have accounting prowess especially business accounting prowess.  I no longer use TaxCut to do my own taxes.  Kent Roberts is very personable and gave me sound advice.  He explained things patiently to me and was a good communicator.  He was not condescending and was able to explain things to me clearly in a way that I understood.  He has a broad background in many areas.  I guess doing taxes for individuals and businesses and bookkeeping helps.  I think he saved me a lot of money because after considering his advice I decided not to pursue a business venture I was considering and, in hind sight, that was wise.  I definitely will seek his advice again in the future should the need arise.  His rates are lower than I expected. (I hope he never reads this.)
