Hired Jay and his crew for some kitchen and laundry room painting. Jay was thorough and super communicative at where they were in the process. Would highly recommend Jay and his guys for any paint you need done!!

can't express enough how much of a crook this "owner" Jay Gomez is. He completely screwed me and my ex-wife when we retained his services when we were selling our house. He partnered with Coldwell Banker (another scam), and we hired him to do some work on our crawlspace, and to also paint the inside of our house. He not only DID NOT do the work in our crawlspace that he was supposed to do, but he charged us $700 more because he said that there was so much more wrong with it than he originally thought. When we got inspections done, it was always flagged for the crawlspace. Also, everytime he would contact us he would always claim that there was a new problem that he found with the house, and that it would be a lot of money to fix. He told us we needed a completely new roof (we didn't even contract him to look at the roof.) He then said it would cost $6,000 to do what's called a layover. Well, my ex and I reluctantly agreed at first for him to do that, until a few days later when he then said it would be $8,500 and then lied and said he never told me $6,000. I can not express how much I hate this person. He is the biggest crook in the treasure valley, and I can only pray I see him again one day to tell him to his face. He threatened to put a mechanics lien on our house if we didn't pay him an extra $1,000 for what he called lost time. Trust me, this guy is bad news. He is a thief. He has no morals, no education (his emails look like a 3rd grader is writing them), no values, is dishonest, and is completely rude. We lost so much money from this moron, but I'm writing this review to hopefully save some poor home owner from getting robbed from this guy.

This couple was a nightmare from the start. First problem was Jason and Katie were getting a divorce, things were uncomfortable around the two. You can feel the tension, they had several problems with there home. The inspection said, that they needed to clean some garbage out of the crawl space, we did not expect it to be 9 55 gallon bags of garbage. this was crazy. Someone had old clothing old"

The purpose of hiring MAAK Services was to paint the exterior of our house. In addition our house had significant long term water damage, including part of the roof. Jay the owner of MAAK came out and performed a detailed assessment of the damage and for the bid he separated out the various aspects of the job, from the fixes needed to the paint portion. Therefore we had a reasonable estimate of the total job. Once the carpenters got into it the job it did expand but Jay was always in touch explaining what our options would be and an idea of cost. Although the job was delayed some due to spring rains, Jay was excellent at communicating the dynamics of the job. When the job was complete Jay came out to inspect and ensure I was fully satisfied. I would definitely recommend MAAK Services for your house repairs/painting. They are trustworthy and professional.

Maak Services did a fabulous job putting stone on our "castle Great Hall" fireplace surround and interior turret entrance. The work of Donnie and Mindy was meticulous, artistic, and professional. They are now engaged in additional interior stonework. Owner Jay Gomez is responsive, client-centric, very personable, and his team's work is reasonably priced, My wife and I highly recommend Maak Services.

Jay Gomez and his crew at Maak Services did the exterior painting of my rental property. I got several quotes, but I could not find any available contractors or one I felt comfortable with. Jay came in and answered the call. Within one day of my Angieâ s List post he took my job and started it the next day! The Maak Serviceâ s team and Jay did a great job, they handled themselves as professionals and second to none. Jay was in constant contact with me through the entire process, from quote to final job walk through. No change orders, no issues, fast professional work, and immediate responses! What more can you ask for? I do not hesitate recommending Maak Services and I will be using them again for future work!

I hired Maak Services to paint my house. Their response was immediate and Jay the owner came out a look at my property. We added additional carpentry services to replace some rotten Hardie board planks. Jay negotiated a fair price and all of his employees were super informative and well trained. Jay and his crew did an outstanding job! They were always prompt, polite, hardworking and skilled. Jay was ALWAYS a text or phone call away; walking us through each step explaining and encouraging us through the process. We had just bought an older home and he completed all things on the inspection report, no matter how small. Jay and his crew were efficient and timely. Great communicator and went above and beyond to meet all of my needs. He was responsible for a complete interior and door paint job. I would recommend Jay and his crew for any handy work that you, it will be hard to find something they cannot do!

Jay and his crew did a truly amazing job on my bathroom. I was having trouble picking a good color, and Jay was able to completely design the colors of the wall, trim, mirror and cabinets. The colors he chose were just outstanding. The crew worked fast and efficiently. The finished product matches my house so perfectly, and the bathroom itself is just the oasis that I was hoping it would be. I am a bit picky about detail, and these guys are skilled and detail oriented. I am thrilled with my bathroom and I will be having them back to complete other projects. Highly recommended.

Jay and his crew were exceptional and the final work product was more than I had ever envisioned. I had them paint the interior of my whole house, and it was finished on time, professionally completed and they even spent time to review any touch up that might be required. My chandelier was taken down and rehung with great care. Jay's crew showed up every day on time and never left any garbage or messes when the day was done. I also hired Jay's tiler to tile my laundry room. Again, it was professionally completed. I would recommend and use Jay and his crews again without hesitation. As I am having new carpet put down in a week, Jay also committed his crew to come back and touch up any areas that were marred by the carpet layers. What company does that?
