FIRST, let me state I would not use Idaho Water Solutions for any further work!
Unfortunately the process did not go well immediately after installation. Josh performed the work while I was out and upon my return the water softener and filter had been installed, everything looked to be fine until further notice. I notice that our water heater had been unplugged to plug in the new water softener and the filter was attached with two out of four bolts required. I called Josh to inquire about the water heater being unplugged and the bolts missing. Josh’s response was not one that I had expected, he replied condescendingly, “Lowes sell a little multi plug adaptor that you can plug into the socket so you can plug in the water heater again” and then told me that two bolts is sufficient vs. the four as designed. After refraining from any comments I then asked Josh for the warranty information and manual to which he replied, “I will have it sent out”. Unfortunately 6 months have passed and the system is not working as promised and I have no warranty information or manual to reference. I call Josh two weeks ago to inquire about the missing material and once again heard, “I will have it sent out”. I once again followed up with Josh this morning and was told, “I will check on it and have it sent out”.
I now have to call another service to have the system that Josh / Idaho Water Solutions installed repaired.
I hold little hope that Josh will follow through on his commitment to send the warranty and manual information.
