Selling our house went relatively smoothly.  Barbara is personable and was always ready and willing to go look at houses with us.  Once we had a home under contract our expectations were not met. She did not seem to have a good understanding of home values.  Barbara seemed hesitant to negotiate for us. She gave us wrong information multiple times that cost us money.  We did not feel that our best interest was her priority so we had to be involved every step of this transaction, including communicating directly with the selling agent , title company, and our lender. At one point Barb gave us the selling agent's phone number to contact him ourselves, when she was "unable" to get necessary documents from him. Within minutes we had the document in hand.  When we tried to communicate with her about our frustrations with the management of this transaction, she denied any responsibility for it taking 9 weeks to close and blamed every others.  She informed us 2 hours before closing that she would not be there because she had "another meeting".  When it funded she sent us an email saying we could go pick up the keys.  Not only was she lacking professionalism, but we felt disrespected by her.  Bottom line, I would not recommend this agent to our family and friends.
