Alpine Gas Fireplaces

They sent a representative out to scope the project. They determined that Western Heating was better qualified to run the gas lines to the two fireplaces. They arranged for Western Heating to scope that work and bid. Several days later Western Heating ran the gas lines. They did a fantastic job. After the city inspected and approved the gas line installation, Alpine sent two installers to complete the job. We are very pleased with the work, cleanliness and overall quality.

Since we moved to Boise, they have taken care of our gas fireplace.  This time they found and installed/replaced the fan that was making a lot of noise.  Mike Almanza is terrific to deal with; their service personnel know what they are doing, take care in their work, don't waste time; all in all a good experience -- again.

He didn't like having to crawl behind my gate to do the work. The interaction with him was fine, it was professional. The work was good.

They were excellent. They were the top from all of them and they bid us what we wanted for the best deal. What stood out to me the most was the price and the quality of the product.

The showroom help in choosing a gas fireplace was very helpful and professional. They carry a wide variety. There are a lot of features to consider. We chose a more expensive unit than the one the salesman suggested because we figured we were only going to do this once and we wanted the best. My husband and I installed the surround ourselves and that saved money. All the installers had to do was put the fireplace in and run the chimney piping. They were good to work around our existing construction project. The installers were very nice and friendly but a bit immature and unprofessional. They need to leave their personal life discussions outside the work place. The fireplace seems to be working well and we would use Alpine again. The salesman was good to check in at the end of the installation and walk us through everything in person.

Initially Alpine was responsive; however, after the initial service call in early November, where they removed the old parts, there were numerous scheduled, but no-show appointments, numerous calls for status that went unreturned. In late December we finally went to their showroom and confronted them with their lack of service and communication. It turns out that they had been searching town for a special fitting to complete the rebuild job; however, they could have informed us of this.
Overall they were not communicative and caused my wife to take several days off from work to be home for appointments that ended up being no-shows.

The complany was polite to deal with from the appointment to the service. He called before the appointment and acutally was able to come early. He was quick to work and cleaned up after himself. Very pleasant to deal with. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Rick arrived on time and was very friendly. He cleaned the glass screen, checked everything that needed to be checked and cleaned up after his work. He didi a thorough job.
